I remember living through that shit. The black out was crazy, people looting and rioting, and I remember how afraid everyone was when the Son Of Sam started killing. Shit was crazy in NY back then. I remember being in the back of my mother's car , stopped at a red light on 42nd street. ( The FOURTY DUECE ) A hooker walked up to my window and takes out her big beautiful black titties and rubs them all over the window. Graffiti was everyplace, crime was at an all time high, and the Bronx was burning. Fires all the time, everywhere.
