Jokic doesn’t stat pad. But he doesn’t need to be winning the MVP every year. I know that. Joker winning these MVP’s makes a case for Kobe and Lebron getting robbed in the past then. Kendrick Perkins has a point with the racial bias but NOT the stat padding. If anybody cared to watch the Nuggets play, they’d see why he averages a triple double. But he shouldn’t win it because of a damn triple double. That’s for sure. Embiid deserved it last year and he deserves it this year. Giannis too.

They have to get these raggedy ass voters to look at more than just stats. That’s why Jokic is winning these shits man. As amazing as Embiid has been and the stats to back it up, Jokic has dropped 40 point triple dubs, multiple 30 point triple dubs(in back to back games) and even has Embiid beat in a Defensive stat(steals), They need to look at OVERALL impact on the game on BOTH sides of the ball as well. And if they can, head to head matchups That’s where Embiid excels and passes Jokic. Fuck just stats. I’ve been saying this for years, I’d rather have Embiid any day of the week. Defense fucking matters.
But I’m not anti-Joker. Happy to have him and I’ll take him over a Rudy Gobert or a Nurkic or a Porzingis any day.
