Last year I was one of the people who bitch about starting a new thread every year instead of maintaining a single NBA thread.

I'ma STFU this year because I see the necessity now. The other thread has COMPLETELY off the rails with summer league bs, social media post, etc.

New year, new thread
My 2nd Rounders .... I mean 76ers are still in the boat, but what else is new :dunno:

This thread needs to have several white fans of various NBA teams coming together to hate on and troll LeBron James and his team OP. It's a BGOL tradition. I wanna see Warriors fans, Heat fans, Nuggets fans, and Cavs fans all being chummy with one another spreading likes and telling Bob Sager type jokes but coming together to hate on a common enemy, LeBron's Lakers!!! Thread needs WS and anti-Blackness towards the richest and most successful Black American player of all time to really be official. There's only one true rivalry in this sport.

If Steph wins another chip and Finals MVP the media will leap frog him over Kobe's legacy. Be careful what you wish for.

You're right!

I think Steph vs Kobe is an interesting conversation and if he gets one more, especially as Finals MVP, I think it'd probably be justified.
