Two underachievers.

Kenny Anderson never averaged over 20 points a game or double digit assists. He was a 1 time all star after being drafted #2 overall in 1991.

Derrick Coleman barely averaged over 20 points a game only three times in his career (less than Jermaine O'Neal who did it four times). He was 3rd team all NBA twice and played in 1 all star game after being drafted #1 overall in 1990.

Crazy shit is, Kenny Anderson has downplayed LeBron James greatness before, but Derrick "British Knights" Coleman is the best player he's ever played with.

The standard for 90's players was so low thanks to Stern and Silver.

Feels insane for a top player to be ruled out of MVP consideration in January. If the purpose was to encourage players to play as much as possible, this does not achieve that. This is a bad rule, let the voters figure it out.
