That's basically who Amen will replace as the starter when Brook's contract is close to ending. I wouldn't bench Jabari because pf is not Amen's true position. And also Jabari is still just 21.
You can't bench a top 3 pick in Jabari that young when he still has room to grow & was actually playing better before he got hurt. The Rockets got a lot of talent piled up with Eason & Whitmore on the roster too.

You can EASILY make a case for Russell or Wilt as the GOAT. You could very credibly put them in your top 3 and only one person Dr. J era and after.
LeBron could be #1. He could also very easily not be top 5. I've heard arguments for Magic or Oscar as #1.
Nobody is a top 3 lock, the shit is just too subjective and the league is about 80 years old.
I personally feel like Wilt and Russell get wayyyyy too dismissed just because most of us never watched them and don't care what happened before we were born.
He didn't articulate his point well at first, he seems to want a frontcourt DPOY and a backcourt one.
I think that would be cool as a sort of silver medal-- There should only be one DPOY but if that person is a big man you could have a Defensive Back Court POY or vice-versa.
I'm all for more recognition, especially of defense.
I really wish there was an OPOY award because the current system is set up like defense isn't part of what makes a player most valuable and it should be more comprehensive. MVP, OPOY, DPOY.
