Google, seems suns are willing to give him the max as a third wheel while Pat Riley would rather lose him

The disrespect after everything he has done for Miami

:smh:
They don't want to lose him
They want him to take a little less per year but they would give him an extra year to maintain flexibility for '26

They've said it
Dump Beal and his max and trade for butler and give him the max extension
Damn, why the heat won't pay him?

What direction is the heat going, are y'all trying create a big 3 or rebuild?

Riley seems to want save money creating this team that doesn't have enough talent to contend nor go deep in the playoffs.

Meanwhile the sun's are going backwards, they're getting rid of a older player to replace with another older player.

Jimmy will be 37 when that max extension kicks in lol
He plays 1/4 of the seasons
1/3 this year not counting the suspension
He was injured the last 2 play offs
He's been injured 3x this season
They want some flexibility and they refuse to go over the 2nd apron because:

The NBA's second apron is a salary limit that imposes penalties on teams that exceed it. These penalties restrict teams' ability to build their roster and acquire players.

Penalties
  • Mid-level exception: Teams can't use the mid-level exception in free agency

  • Trade exceptions: Teams can't use trade exceptions from previous years or created by combining multiple players' salaries

  • First-round picks: Teams can't trade first-round picks seven years in the future

  • Sign-and-trades: Teams can't sign-and-trade their own players to acquire others

  • Cash: Teams can't send cash to other teams in trades

  • Draft pick: If a team is in the second apron for three out of five years, their first-round pick is moved to the end of the first round

Would you be cool with your employee asking for more money when he misses work 26% of the year?
If he is my star employee yes. Funny how Heat are always having this issue with their star players, Wade, Shaq, Bron all left because of this. I bet Pat Riley makes sure he gets his money regardless of team performance.

No that's not why they left
Shaq was washed
Bron was going back to Cleveland regardless
Wade now says he would have took the heat contract after leaving for Chicago. Once he left miami he realized the grass isn't always greener.

Shaq was washed just like Jimmy right so we better pay him less? :hmm:

Bron left because of money because Pat Riley wanted him to take a pay cut.

No wonder these athletes go broke, wanting to buy these big homes they aren't gonna stay in for long especially moving around the city getting traded.

What KD said isn't wise.

KD has been in the NBA for almost 20 years while also making a good amount off the court.

He probably wasn't even thinking about how he just basically got to the league.

Right, Because I'm sure KD didn't get a big home right away when he was on the supersonics and thunder until later, he wasn't staying with one team either, supersonics, thunder, Brooklyn, warriors and now the suns.

Wondering why he played in the Olympics :smh:
I hated the fact he played in the Olympics, fresh from surgery and then came back damn near the end of season along with playing in the playoffs, and right after that he joined the Olympics which he never gave his knee time to heal. :smh:

When was he going to get another chance to win a championship?

I'm more afraid of the fact that this'll be on national TV. We always come up extra smedium when the lights are bright.
Dawg, I know what you mean when you say that because my sixers are the same way when the lights are the brightest being on national TV.
