I said something similar to this and people thought I was on the owners side. Fuck the owners. But I truly believe something like this would be an extreme motivator for players to do their best to stay on the court. Freak injuries I understand but there’s a lot of players that are not taking care of their bodies to do the job that they have.
It’s like someone with an oil rig job thinking they only have to maintain their body like someone who sits behind a desk every day imo
