Some of them old school NBA uniforms are dope!

Agreed. One of my best memories is going on a westcoast roadtrip with the family back around 1993 or 1994. We were gone for about 3 weeks. If I remember correctly we visited the Champion outlet location in Eugene, Oregon (?) ...and they had a bunch of clearance stuff that was priced really favorably. Factory defect items which basically had 1 or 2 stitches incorrect ... stuff you could NOT see upon first inspection.

Anyway ... they had lots of jerseys & practice t-shirts (thick, high quality t-shirts). The jerseys and t-shirts were like $4 - $5 ... crazy!

I bought stuff for Chicago, Golden State, Boston, Los Angeles and more.

Went back to school that fall and people were like - "Damn man ... I like all this stuff!" wondering how much I spent. Told them the prices and they were floored. Wore that stuff for years - especially the t-shirts as they did not break down or wear out.

Great that you found a bargained price and it lasted for years. Back then you could find clothing for cheap that were high quality.

Exactly. That's the key ... the stuff to be of quality. You can still find deals on stuff today, but unfortunately the quality is often lacking and the life of the items is reflected.

Funny side note for you ... when we were there for a day or two in Oregon, we stayed at one of the small local motels or hotels. So we headed off on foot for dinner one night as restaurants were nearby. And we happened across a spot like Izzy's or Sizzler. Something along those lines. We are teenagers then so we're chowing down on pizza, fried chicken, spaghetti, soda, you name it. You know ... looking for bubbleguts in our near future.

As we're eating a WHOLE bunch of college-aged dudes come in, and my dad realizes it's a college or university football team. Several had their team shirts or jackets, etc. Anyway ... he starts chuckling to us like - "The guys are going to eat this restaurant out of business. Especially the linemen."

He still references that story to this day ... 30 years later. "Remember when the WHOLE football team came in? Some of the guys were eating thousands of extra calories ..."

Still makes me laugh, lol.

Cavs at 17-1.......They don't believe you..... you need more people........

The Celtics Takeover....we running this NBA shit........

Bruh,

We all know basic math,

17 > 16, and 1 < 3.

More wins and less losses = the better team

Plus our point margins for wins is higher

Aye I hope both teams are healthy when they meet again next month

If you had to put your money on it?

@D24OHA
The league don't believe your record......it is outright fraud.

17-0 is better than 17-1........Celtics always expose the Cavs stat padding
against garbage teams( head to head Cavs always get exposed by the Celtics)

You come up with the same excuse every time Cavs lose.....health :smh: :smh: :smh:
Cavs are (2-7) vs the Celtics the past 2 years....Cavs will never be what you call "healthy"

Celtics don't talk about health.....you play who you got....and you roll with it.

Ice up.....Cavs will always blame losses on health.....ice up!!!!!

The same team that gentlemen swept the cavs in the 2024 playoffs: Celtics 4-1
The same Celtics team that is 7-2 vs the Cavs
The same team that gave the Cavs their loss this year

Men lie...women lie...."real" stats don't

Russ is such a bitch. Guy acts like he won a title whenever he hits a 3.. Then cries like a rape victim when fans give him shit for shooting bricks.

Russ is balling in Denver. That’s all that matters. Mf’s like you tried to shit on his entire career cuz of a few bad years. So of course he gone talk even more shit now. Y’all stay waiting for him to fuck up but never give him props for being resilient.

Glad Russ accepted his role and now playing to his strengths. Melo was out the league until he accepted a reserve role. I'm sure for a player like Russ, a former MVP to not be a starter anymore but you have 2 choices. You can retire because you only want to be starter or take a lesser role and be that energy guy off the bench for 25 mins instead of 35.

We shit on Russ when he was with the Lakers and it wasn't fair to him but he just wasn't that guy anymore. We just didn't know it yet. Easily the worst trade of Lebron's GM career.

Yes both teams fully healthy and ready to play.

Hey I gotta respect your opinion.

Bruh, I'm a die hard Cavs fan. Since the Richfield Colosseum family pack for $21 days, Brad Daugherty sitting on the bench in shiny ass $5,000 suits, Mark Price was the best technical shooter in the league before the wrist injuries......

Waaaaaay before LBJ........

I'm glad to see them playing well after LBJ.....

I know we're a "small market" team, but we've got heart and the league is on notice!! Hahaha

Man, that 3 season tear of triple doubles was fucking good as hell to watch, yeah there was a little stat padding with the rebounds some nights, but still......

Russ needs /needed more respect on his name

Resilient? You act like this nigga adjusting to going blind while fighting cancer or some shit. Shut yo bitch ass up.. The guy has been an inefficient chucker and asshole his entire career. A stat padding malcontent that loses everywhere he goes and has been run off every fucking team hes been a part of. Even his hometown clippers wouldnt take him back on a minimum deal. Russ loves playing victim yet loves talking shit when he does what any average NBA player should do... hit a open got dam shot. His expectations are so low that idiots like you say hes "balling" when he strings together a week of good play after stinking up the joint the previous two weeks. Russ is a fucking clown and nigga so are you.
