Why y’all calling him a bitch? He has a point. I don’t think he’s mad, he’s just stating his observations. Fans don’t give a shit about the regular season and it’s been that way for a while. Player movement/offseason has gotten more hype in the media than the actual games. Now the players are to blame as well with this load management bullshit.
People talk more about who is the GOAT than what’s going on in the current season. Most NBA fans are casuals who only watch for a few players. Look at how they talk about the last 2 NBA Finals or hell, any Finals that didn’t have LeBron or Curry involved in the last decade.

On one hand, comparing numbers from today to previous times is already apples and oranges because of pacing. But a reduced season of 60 something games would mean no season record would ever be broken again. All previous seasons would be broken off from history and we’d discuss “modern era” records. It would be a seismic shift in a way that is not fully appreciated.
