They put #3 in the picture though.

DPOY > Game 6 Klay

It ain’t as flashy but it’s more valuable.

Batman/Robin doesn’t work for the Warriors.

It makes more sense to use these figures to describe The Golden Triumvirate:

1. The Avengers: Iron Man, Captain America, and Black Widow

  • Steph Curry as Iron Man (Tony Stark): The superstar, the charismatic leader, the offensive genius. Like Tony Stark, Curry is the face of the team, driving the narrative and the scoring with his innovation.
  • Draymond Green as Captain America (Steve Rogers): The leader behind the scenes, the defensive anchor, the heart and soul of the team. Cap is essential to the team’s cohesion, strategy, and spirit, just like Draymond with his defensive leadership, grit, and versatility.
  • Klay Thompson as Black Widow (Natasha Romanoff): Klay is important and brings a lot to the table, but he’s more specialized—his shooting is vital, but his role is not as expansive as Curry or Draymond. Like Black Widow, Klay executes his part flawlessly, but is not the primary leader.

2. Star Wars: Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia

  • Steph Curry as Luke Skywalker: The Jedi Knight, the leader who embodies the power and vision that drives the team, much like Luke’s importance to the Rebel Alliance.
  • Draymond Green as Han Solo: The sometimes gruff, but incredibly essential part of the group, offering both leadership and support in ways that are not always appreciated. Han doesn’t always get the spotlight, but without him, the group lacks balance and success. Draymond does a lot of the "dirty work" in the same way Han does—both are vital to the group’s success.
  • Klay Thompson as Princess Leia: She's a key player and undeniably important, providing leadership and steadiness, but in the context of this trio, she’s not as pivotal to the overall dynamic as Luke or Han. She’s indispensable, but the team really operates through the combined efforts of Luke and Han.

3. The Godfather: Vito Corleone, Michael Corleone, and Tom Hagen

  • Steph Curry as Michael Corleone: The leader and face of the operation, Michael takes over as the driving force of the family’s empire, much like Curry is the driving force for the Warriors.
  • Draymond Green as Vito Corleone: Vito is the heart of the family, offering leadership, strategy, and control—like Draymond, who is the defensive and emotional anchor of the team. His contributions are sometimes underappreciated but absolutely essential.
  • Klay Thompson as Tom Hagen: Tom is important as the consigliere, but his role is more about execution and less about the overarching direction of the family. Klay’s scoring is vital, but his role within the trio is more about filling in the gaps created by Curry and Draymond’s leadership.

4. The Matrix: Neo, Morpheus, and Trinity

  • Steph Curry as Neo: The "One," the superstar who drives the team’s success, just as Neo is the central figure in The Matrix. He’s the face of the Warriors and the catalyst for their offense.
  • Draymond Green as Morpheus: Morpheus is the wise, strategic leader who sees the potential in others and is the true backbone of the team. Similarly, Draymond is the glue guy, the defensive mastermind who is essential to everything the Warriors do, even if he doesn’t get the same individual accolades.
  • Klay Thompson as Trinity: Trinity is crucial to the team, especially in the action and execution, much like Klay is crucial for shooting and scoring. But in the hierarchy, she plays the role of a powerful but more specialized contributor, while Neo and Morpheus drive the overall success.

@largebillsonlyplease - This is what I have been trying in vain to convey to you but maybe this framing will do the trick! Steph is not Batman, James Bond, etc.

This is the song the Heat wish captured where they are with Butler:

When the trade deadline passes and the Heat haven’t been able to find anyone to pawn him off on, they’re going to start playing this music as they announce the starting lineup:

I think they're OK with letting him walk and freeing up 50 mill

Nothing to say on the Bulter situation.
Those two shows are of my top 5 sitcoms of the 90s.

Those shows are so quintessentially 90s that I don't think either of them can run in syndication today unless it's heavily edited.

P.S. original white girl crushes right there.

All they needed was to have Winnie from Wonder Years and/or Topanga from Boy meets World to come in & do a few cameos.

I was hit with the urge to watch some Unhappily Ever After once I dug that up, saw some episodes growing up but haven’t in years.

MWC was crude but quality… Sad to see what Christina Applegate is going through right now.

I think Topanga was hot but she wasn’t fucking with those two… she was the hot girl next door, they were fucking models. (Wonder Years was before my time.)
