There actually isn't only one interpretation and it is sad that you have not figured that out yet.
If I said "Amazed to see TNT hyping LeBron vs Amajorfucup," you would look at that and say "How dare you attack the mighty Bron!" But actually the point would be that LeBron vs a senile old man is not an attractive match-up because it is not competitive.
That is exactly the point I was making with LeBron vs Klay.
And of course the opponent matters. Lakers vs Nuggets is a more attractive match-up than Lakers vs Raptors, for people who want to actually watch good basketball and not just masturbate to LeBron footage.
