He wasn’t part of their stars to promote list.. they usually have specific players they push and he beat the mold.. it’s why some players that deserve situations don’t get it.. if you think about it he deserves to be starting for the pro bowl if his team don’t make it to the Super Bowl but he’s not the most popular player so he’s overlooked
Good question and you can make the case the NFC North overall has the best teams in the league this season. 3 teams with double digit wins.

Nah if his team made it to the playoffs he definitely should be thought of.. his team was completely forgotten about cause of their record but if you look at his past several game he’s thrown for 3 tds or more in like the past 6-8 games
But I guess it's because his name doesn't ring bells like lamar and allen who they promote the most.
Think the narrative was to focus on Allen from the start. Eventhough Darnold was balling out since week one 1, no one thought he would hold it up all season. A 7 year journeyman as the league MVP is not pretty to the media.
