Official 2025 NFL Off Season Discussion!!!

Depends on what moves they make in the offseason.
Yall have so many rookie starters that you don’t have to worry about paying for like another 3 years.

Probably lock up Sewell and st brown. Add a DE and CB, Detroit is in good position salary cap wise.

Can’t too many teams say this:

Not from Detroit, but I wanted this for them. Bet against the odds that they'd show up and show out, despite the bookmakers. Remember the year they went 0-17. Frigging city declared bankruptcy. That's why I say they needed this. This collapse is legendary. Only other that comes to mind is Atlanta/New England in the Super Bowl

Still don't think game manager is an insult.

Both NY teams wish they had one.

Congrats cuz!!
Absolutely is an insult
Because its saying he ain't the reason and he is

Kyle was 0 for coming back and especially in the playoffs

Won the last 2 tho
Down 17 tonight

Where was the big play from every one else?
Or was it together making plays to come back and win?

100%

I still don't think MANAGING A WINNING GAME should have ever been an insult.

@REDLINE

I wasn't trying to diss brock

Brock is a top shelf QB period end of story.

Is the "system" the reason he does well?

Probably.

But isn't that EXACTLY what a professional supposed to do?

90% of the league are system players who excel and thrive because the team puts them in positions and schemes to win. And they can both execute and improvise.

Obviously Mahones, Lamar and Cam are next level because of what they can do despite the defense

But Brock ain't FAR from that.

I'd rather a "system" qb then a boom or bust.

Brock is solid.

Andy Reid ain't got a system I guess

Nor does he play with Hof players right

He does and uses them like he should

Lamar same thing with finally having some talent around them
Only a penalty for Brock

Cuz...they ALL SUPPOSED to be game managers

At least to me.

It should have never been an insult to any qb who got that label.

Every QB has a system they supposed to master. I don't understand why that is considered a negative is all I'm saying.

It's really not, but these analyst just try to use it to say a certain QB isn't responsible for the teams success, real game managers are never even talked about

Okay you get my point

imagine if that Jets defense had a competent true game manager in the quarterback position?

They don't need Mahomes or Purdy or Allen.

They need someone who can execute consistently at a high level and make little or no mistakes

You know what I calm that?

All pro potential hall of fame
