I love the pettiness. I would bring him in the game after halftime. When the defense is not ready for him.
With that they say well you can get hurt on the first play in the playoffs. They will always have an excuse.
Yeah, but I sure as hell wouldn't want my star player being hurt in the last game when you aren't playing for anything.
That's why all these teams like Kansas City are sitting this weekend.
I get it. I say he had his chance in 16 games and didn't get it. But to break it against your old team, now that's why I would play.
It also took Dickerson more games to break OJ record, so it's all relative.
And what if Barkley blows out his knee in the first series of the playoffs? It will just be looked at as an unfortunate injury. Same would be said if he got injured the last week of the season. There would be something on the line in both scenarios. And I don't buy it's a meaningless game, because it's not for Barkley. He has a chance to etch his name into the NFL history books.
I mentioned earlier I'm fine with it. If he's fine with not playing, but after watching him talk about it. Dude seems a little down about it and even said his family wants him to go for it.
smokescreen...just means the jets want him, or somebody does.

Ben Johnson has turned down jobs. Glenn should be able to as well. This is why I want Raheem to do well. He may not get another chance other than being an interim.
You notice how in Tampa, Cohen is getting all the credit and bowles is getting none? Yes baker and the offense looks great but Bowles is still the coach.
