9er fans were hyped up when we first signed Logan Thomas
Thinking he was going to be a legit backup for George Kittle

I’m sure I posted about this kid, but he might be the chosen one behind Kittle

Mason Pline from Furman

Yeah he did actually make a few splash plays in camp so far
But he's a little "green", so he's still learning
I think he can make the roster as the #4 TE
I'm curious to see him in the 49ers preseason tomorrow

Quick overview of the 9ers from what I've seen so far in camp:
Defense looks pretty solid this year
The secondary might be a little bit better than the front seven this year
Corners & safeties are good to go
For the LB position, we just need to see who will step up until Dr Greenlaw gets back from injury (midseason)
On the D-line, I think we need 1 more legit edge rusher on the other side of Bosa
I wish they could make a mid season trade for Patriots Matthew Judon
The run defense still is a question mark
It was really suspect in the playoffs last year, so I need to see how much they improved this preseason

The offense hasn't changed a whole lot
I think McCaffrey has a slight down tick in production
Maybe 1,100--1,200 yards, instead of the 1,400+ yards he had last season
Look out for our backup RB (Jordan Mason not Elijah Mitchell)
I think he could have maybe around a 400-500 yard season rotating in the lineup
Kittle will probably have close to 1,000 yards again

*** Look out for Deebo ***
Dude has been in phenomenal shape this offseason
If he stays healthy
I can see him having like a 1,200-1,700 yard season
(Depending on if Aiyuk comes back or not)
If Aiyuk doesn't come back, look for Juaun Jennings to step up
Probably a 500-700 yard season

I don't know what to make of the rookie, Ricky Pearsall
He's been banged up with minor injuries so he hasn't practiced much
When he did play...he does get open, runs good routes
But dude isn't strong enough to beat a jam/press
He needs to be in the slot only, to get a free release, & then next offseason gain about 5-10 pounds of muscle
If he can stay healthy, I think he could be somewhat productive this year though
And for fantasy purposes, take a look at Brock Purdy
I think dude is going to put up numbers again
Probably like 4,000-4,800 yards this season
(Depending on if Aiyuk comes back or not)
This is actually the first full offseason that he's had to practice as the unquestioned starter & be healthy
And you can tell he's actually put on a little bit of muscle, especially on his legs (pause no diddy)
Don't believe the media hype about him possibly having a down year

Good. Now I don’t feel bad if I pass on CMC if I have the #1 pick in any of my drafts lol

Solid analysis

Last year McCaffrey had 1,459 yards rushing and 564 receiving
That shit was just crazy !!!
To be honest I'm thinking probably 100 yards less in the passing game this season
And maybe 300 yards less running the ball this season
Not MVP type numbers like last year, but still a solid season (1,100 yards & some change)
And then our backup RB should be Jordan Mason (not Elijah Mitchell)
