He’s a poor decision maker and this is yet another example. Inconsistent and talks too goddamn much for someone who’s a WR3 only because he’s in Chicago; otherwise he’s likely a KR and special teamer only. Has potential but has lived up to it too infrequently. Mooney has played better in one season than Miller has in three.

Getting pressure on the QB helps but yeah, a secondary that got takeaways was key especially when the offense was suspect to dreadful. 10-15 years later the offense is still dreadful but can’t get the takeaways.
Say what you will about Cutler but he was going to throw you in or out of a game. Offense was good; defense was ass. Franchise just can’t find a balance.
