This what I always think. Like I understand a tank from a fan’s standpoint but there’s players on the team that are not trying to get replaced and/or just want to play winning football. Why help the team get a better pick for them to pick a player at your position.
Right. Some fans just don't know football or how the NFL works...Players trying to keep their jobs and/or put out good game tape for other teams to look at and potential sign on there roster.
I always refer to Decobie Durant who played DB at SC State and was drafted by the LA Rams. SC State played Clemson and he had 2 interceptions in that game and that was the one game that stood out for the LA Rams and was the reason why they drafted him....Not the NFL, but the same concept.
Browns ownership got they attorneys reading that contract line by line looking for an out. And they definitely know they gotta draft a QB now
