I never gave it a second thought that Anthony Smith wasn't a white dude or something white'ish. Then I took a look at his face and realized, this nigga's just biracial and lightskinned as fuck. He hasn't been hiding that fact; I just hadn't paid attention to it before now...

now THIS is gonna be a great card!!

I don't see how Usman is gonna beat Woodley but hey--- this is the UFC. But I'm going with Woodley.

.I don't see HOW smitth is gonna touch Jon Jones, but again-- this is the UFC.

But I'm going with Jones of course.

I kinda hope Lawler beats Ben Askren, but I'm gonna go with Ben.

Good to see Cody back. Home TJ didn't fuck him up so bad mentally be can't get back in the W column.

I'll take Zabit over Stephens

Wwlp-- those are my picks from what I know

Going to be interesting to see how Usman deals with Woodley's power. Great wrestling from both. Hopefully they don't nullify each other's skill sets too much.

Happy to see guys like Anthony Smith and Thiago Santos doing well after moving up a weight division. Definitely a big jump from 185 - 205 ... but they're both on the right track in their careers. Probably a bit too soon for Smith though.

Lawler-Askren = I want to see how Ben deals with Lawler on the fight. Ben's elite level as far as wrestling goes, but his striking leaves much to be desired. Robbie's got way more MMA experience & has fought a who's who during his career. Hopefully Askren doesn't smother him for 3 rounds. I want to see Askren deal with major adversity.

Garbrandt-Munhoz = Munhoz is well-rounded. Cody's a more powerful striker, though he needs to get back on track after the 2 Dillashaw losses, like you said. Would be a major feather in the cap of Munhoz if he pulls this one off.

Zabit M' vs. Stephens should be exciting - for however long it lasts. Either a quick finish, or a 3-round action fight. Both very aggressive fighters ... one fighter's getting a performance bonus, or they're each sharing in Fight of the Night bonu$ money respectively. Early contender for that.

Very entertaining presser with these two. Funny and they give a lot of inside info.

I'm with you on all of the above. The only issue I have is Jones, I have the sneaking suspicion that he is going to fuck up again. I hope I'm wrong, but something feels off... again...

Aww man let's face it. He can fuck up all he wants. He comes back and wins and we let it ride. That's just life lol.
True. It just creates a log jam at LHW and these goofy interim titles come in to play. I pray non of the PPV fights fall out. I want to see them all.

No matter WHO holds that belt, until someone beats him, he's the champ. Pains me to say it as a DC fan

Today the Nevada State Athletic commission released an official statement in regards to UFC champion Jon Jones and the findings of their drug testing protocol leading up to Saturday's UFC 235. In short, the findings match those already found by the California State Athletic Commission and the United States Anti-Doping Association and Jones will be licensed to fight:

On January 29, 2019, the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) ordered professional mixed martial artist Jon Jones be subjected to random drug testing for prohibited substances. Mr. Jones has been cooperative with the NSAC and has submitted to multiple drug tests conducted by the NSAC, the Voluntary Anti-Doping Agency (VADA), and the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA). Mr. Jones’ samples were analyzed by the Sports Medicine and Research Laboratory (SMRTL) who provided the NSAC with investigative reports containing the following findings:

Dr. Daniel Eichner, President and Laboratory Director of SMRTL, reviewed the above investigative reports and determined that they show no evidence that dehydrocholormethyltestosterone (DHCMT) has been re-administered. Dr. Eichner further provided that there is no scientific or medical evidence that the athlete (Jones) would have an unfair advantage leading up to, or for, his contest scheduled on March 2, 2019.

The above analytical findings are consistent with the NSAC’s January 29, 2019 order to issue Mr. Jones a single fight license and, as such, the findings will not preclude him from competing on March 2, 2019. Mr. Jones will continue to be subject to random drug testing and monitoring so as to assure his continued compliance.
