If Velazquez uses his wrestling he can win cause Ngannou don’t seem too good there. Can has not fought for a while and some say he’s been using steroids. But I don’t know, mane, I think it may be a slug fest.

It will be interesting to see how it plays out. Especially with Cain returning since last being in there in July 2016, and Francis' ups and downs the past 4 fights. The great KO of Overeem, followed by decision losses to Miocic & Lewis, and then most recently another great KO of Blaydes. Eugene Robinson from Bloody Elbow / MMA Nation said Cain was looking great in training. He had a chance to visit the AKA gym in recent memory ... as he was doing an interview segment with their head coach for his side project (Ozy Confidential podcast).

Going to be interesting to see how things play out at heavyweight moving forward too.

Does Cormier fight Lesnar? Jones? Rematch with Miocic? Big money would be versus Lesnar. He's already down 2-0 versus Jones. He KO'd Miocic in under 1 round last July.

How many more fights does Jones have at LHW? Does he try and become a 2-division champ too and go for the HW strap (while holding LHW)? Try and do what Cormier did last year. Does he eventually face Velasquez in a title fight? That would be interesting with Cain being a close friend and training partner of DC's.

How do Ngannou and Velasquez look this evening?

That's the fastest I've seen Cain get finished. That finish was quicker than Jr. Dos Santos.

Unfortunate about the main event. Too injury prone over the years. Props to Francis.

Enjoyed the Felder-Vick, Casey-Calvillo, and Sterling-Rivera fights. Big win for Sterling ... great game plan.

Props to Kron Gracie in his UFC debut ... getting the quick sub over Caceres in just over 2 minutes.

Big props to Luque-Barberena. What a fight. If I recall correctly from the broadcast ... Anik noted that was the most combined significant strikes landed in a 3-round UFC fight. Heart and toughness for days for both fighters ... with Luque getting the stoppage in the final seconds of round 3. Wow. No shame in losing, Barberena.
