Denver has been getting a free pass on their dumb shit for the last 5 or 6 years. They're rarely called on anything.

He's old and a free agent at the end of the year, who prefers Orton

They figure they can get something for him.

They figure Decker, Thomas and Royal will be good enough :dunno:

brandon lloyd makes the difficult catches
but can't make the easy ones
and he doesn't get any separation
which is why he's been on so many teams

It's not like Tebow would be able to get the ball downfield to him...shit Elway is officially putting his bid in for #12

Don't be fooled, the Broncos are caving it in to get Andrew Luck. They know Tebow is not a starter in the league but they want to please the fans and sell out seats by starting him. Getting rid of Lloyd (they're best receiver) is more proof that Tebow will fail.

Elway who's a Stanford grad is a big fan of Andrew Luck and he's been to several of Luck's game at Stanford. Luck is rated as the next sure shot prospect since Manning back in 98.

I hope my Texans make a trade for Lloyd...

With the first pick in the 2011 NFL Draft the Denver Broncos select...

umhhh How are the broncos selecting "1st" when miami, colts and st. louis are still 0-4. Of the teams mentioned miami easily has the toughest schedule remaining?

That's the reason they're starting Tebow and getting rid of Lloyd. Elway wants Andrew Luck and he's going to do whatever to get him.

you must be slow lets go through this slowly

1) First, those team i mentioned haven't won yet..broncos have
2) Secondly, If anything Tebow gives them "more" of a chance to win than orton
3) Finally, miami plays in the tougher division

Do we need to break this down even further?

Sounds like they want to re-load because they know this team isn't going anywhere. Get some draft picks for Lloyd and start rebuilding.

Slow? It's really not worth arguing with you since you think Tebow gives them the best chance to win but for the hell of it let me break it down for you.

1) Who is he going to throw to once they trade Lloyd? It's bad enough Tebow's completion percentage is already terrible as a pro and if your trying to make him a franchise qb, you don't trade the best receiver.

2). Tebow was listed as the 3rd Qb and now he's starting when he hasn't shown shit. This isn't college where you can run gimmick plays. Tebow can't pass and if you think he's going to be Vick 2.0, that ain't happening. NFL defences will be salivating at the mouth to light his ass up when he runs because they're not worried about his arm.

3). Like I said earlier, Elway is a big fan of Andrew Luck and probably has the best scoop on the kid since he's a Stanford alumn. Luck is the next best QB prospect since Manning and all the moves the Broncos are doing are signs that they're getting in the Luck sweepstakes.

I have nothing against Tebow but dude cannot play QB in this league. I would take Quinn over him as a pure QB, hence the reason Quinn was above him on the roster. All this is politics to fans to make them think Tebow is the future while they sell seats. It's no guarantee they'll get the number one pick but their positioning themselves to likely get it.

the colts know that this is the END for peyton manning as well, and they're tanking their season too.

everybody going after andrew luck when i think other qb's will have more of an impact.

just look at cam newton... they didn't give him a snowball's chance in hell, and cam lighting it up.

but he was still picked #1 overall...

which makes me hope even more that Luck is the next Ryan Leaf

this move is a real head scrathcher. I am convinced that Llyod would NOT be traded if Orton was still the QB. With that said are the Bronco's trading him because:

1. He made negative comments about the "Tebow thing" early in the season?
2. Does he not like Tim so much that the management thinks it is goin gto be a problem?

Since Llyods name was NEVER in trade talks before Tebow's move to starter there has to be a connection with Tebow in some way.

What this says to me is that the Bronco's really want Tebow to fail. Seriously. Or that the management are total F-ups. This move and the Jacsonville QB move (cutting the starting QB a few days before the season) is beyond stupid.

Tebow needs all the good hands he can grab up to help him and his poor accuracy. So you publicly leak you are trying to trade you best receiver?!?!? Free agent or not, Lloyd has been the lone bright spot on that offense and this move is retarded. For real.

Maybe they think he's a one year wonder. As a SF fan, i dont miss him from the 49ers too much. Redskin and Bears fans might say the same thing.

Just saw on ESPN that they're shopping Eddie Royal too. It seems they're either trying to sabotage Tebow, tanking for Luck, or both.
