Man I was at Ricardo Steak House in Harlem the other day and it was packed with people waiting in line outside. But few had masks and I know for a fact many of not most were not vaccinated.

The Delta and the Brasil variants are much more contagious and dangerous than the original strain.

My company has us returning to the office one day per week and removed all restrictions if you are vaccinated so I'm the only one in the office still wearing a mask at this point.

Just understand, unless you're wearing a KN95 mask, the mask you wear won't protect you against the virus, only lessen the spread of the virus from you to others, if you're a carrier.

A healthy immune system helps but is not foolproof or close to being as effective as the vaccine, and the longer Sars2 remains out there the more it will mutate creating a risk of even deadlier and more contagious strains.
I am healthy, take a ton of vitamins, work out daily and eat very well, but in spite of all of that, I am fully vaccinated and have my eyes peeled on this subject knowing that with COVID-19 things can change and get ugly real fast.
Wonder what the Olympics turnout will be like..hearing rumors that a few countries might not even compete

Yo if you have many people in Trinidad call them up and ask them what's going on with the Brasilian variant. My wife just informed me that two of her classmates died last week, and that variant is different from what we went through because its killing kids, younger people, and people who appear to be healthy. What's crazy is a few months they were laughing thinking COVID was a joke and something that would not hit the tropics.
Don't take my word for it talk to people from over there who been on a curfew that only allows them to go outside between 10 am to 5 am and this been going on for around a month.

What's happening is most of them are testing positive for the antibodies while remaining asymptomatic. This is good news for the people vaccinated but messed up for those who aren't because now they have to worry about healthy people who are fully vaccinated potentially spreading COVID to them.
As far as being vaccinated but still masking up, I get it, after this year one can't be too safe, but in actuality, the best thing you can do is try to eat right while keeping your eyes and ears glued to international news, keeping a tab on new and potential vaccine resistant variants. As of today, we are covered from all strains out there however with the Indian variant, there is a greater chance of catching it and becoming asymptomatic, so the possibility of a vaccine-resistant strain grows the longer the virus is out there spreading.
I wear my KN95 mask wherever I go.
