The laptop I use to surf the net and look at porn broke so I'm using my Playstation 3's internet browser for now. I bought a USB keyboard with a 6 foot USB extension so I wouldn't have to type with the controller. Too bad neither the controller or keyboard will let me cut-n-paste.

Here's a short run-down on the PS3's internet browser for those who don't use it. To open up another tab, hover the curser over a link and press the Triangle button. Go to File and go to Open in New Window. Just like a normal browser it has cookies, bookmarks and you gotta clean ya cache everyonce in awhile. However, this browser is severely limited in some of its functions. You can only open up a handful of tabs at a time and if a page is too large to load, your PS3 will either freeze or the browser will ask you to close some windows. The PS3 also gets pop-ups.

When you're writing, the browser will limit how much you can type. It's very annoying. Right now I'm at my limit. BRB

The current browser needs to be updated because only a handful of video sites work. Here's a list of flash sites that are supported.

What works: www.youtube.com www.dailymotion.com www.pornotube.com (Cannot rewind, pause or fast-forward on pornotube though)

What doesn't work: www.rude.com www.redtube.com www.xtube.com www.gametrailers.com www.photobucket.com videos on www.ign.com and myspacetv

Those are all the sites I went to and checked out myself. The pix there work but not the videos.

To download music and videos, you need direct download links. Links that do not time out. As a result, sendspace, rapidshare, megaupload and sites like that do not work.

zshare works though. I've been able to download music and video clips from zshare.

Downloads happen in the background. You don't even need the internet browser to be up. It functions the same as if you're downloading from the Playstation Store. You can download to your hard-drive or Portable Flashdrive.

LMFAO!!! There ain't really shit to play on the PS3 unless you wanna play PS2 games. There aren't enough 5 star PS3 games out right now. The PS2's first year was the best console launch of all time. I don't know what the fucking deal is with Sony. Some mothafuckas need to get fired. I mainly play games on my X-Box 360. I would rather buy multi-platform games for the Playstation 3 though because the X-Box 360 is loud and undependable. I have an Elite but I'm still worried bout that shit bricking like my last 360. One thing the 360 is the shit at compared to the PS3 is that it lets you play music while playing games. I still can't do that on the PS3. That shit is wack.

No I'm not playing games right now. I'm using the internet browser on it to search for booty-shaking vids. This shit is a challenge cause I can only have one or two tabs up at a time when looking at videos or else this shit will crash.

Yo PS3 must be broke dog you need to get that shit fixed before Metal Gear Solid 4 drops.

Speaking of games, I rarely play games on my PS3. All I have is Resistance: Fall of Man, Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction and Ninja Gaiden Sigma, I downloaded a bunch of demos though. Check out Burnout Paradise and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Those are tight. I also got Trish and Lady from DMC4 as my theme. You have to set up a PlayStation Network account to get all that though. Takes 3 minutes.

You know whats good...I downloaded one of my porno music video remixes and I'mma take my Playstation 3 to a friend's house so he can peep my editing skills but we gotta make sure his wife and kids are out the room or she'll be hating. I'll probably play the boring ass Folklore demo to get them to leave the room. That shit almost sent me to sleep...I wish I made more booty-shaking music videos though cause that's what I'm fiending for at the moment. It's hard finding the buck-naked ones on dailymotion. I tried peeping some threads on BGOL but threads that have way too many pix or embedded flash videos won't load properly so I gotta do the search on dailymotion myself.

That is Sony's fault. Niggas advertising 'The Future of Entertainment and Gaming' and shit but they won't even let us use the media crossbar while playing a game. We can chat and listen to music while playing a game on the X-Box 360 so why not on the PS3? That's their fault. As far as I'm concerned, the future ain't here until they start putting Picture-In-Picture in games. Have the game running with a little PIP box in the corner showing the person you're playing against webcam or something random like porn to keep you awake while playing an RPG.

so i said fuck it let me check on bgol from my ps3 before i play either ffxi, eye of judgment or UT3 (undecided)

as for the browser limitation, fuck it, i'm goin to upgrade the drive and install linux anyway.

mainly because i can so i'll try it, but also this way i can go to webpages that stream tv

Have any of you ever made it to the top of the tower in Shadow of the Colossus?

I beat it before but didn't play it anymore after I beat it. I was reading IGN's Top 100 Games of All Time and Shadow of the Colossus came in at number 16. One thing they mentioned is that this game is one of the few games that made you feel remorse later on as you go. I knew I was feeling something but I just couldn't put a name to it...

I'm thinking about buying Shadow of the Colossus again and buying ICO since I never played it before.
