Does anyone have a theory on how they are going to undo the ending? They obviously can't release a number of sequels that have already been greenlit until they reverse what happened at the end of Infinity War. Is there anything in the comic books that address the undoing of the ending or do you think they are going to make something up for the movie MCU?

Most theories point to some form of time travel where they steal the stones before Thanos has an opportunity to get them. There have been set photos where the original Avengers team are back fighting the Battle Of New York (Avengers 1) with the addition of Ant Man. So im guessing that they go back in time via the quantum realm which just so happens to be a major focus of the upcoming Ant Man and The Wasp movie. Hope that sheds a bit of light.

That makes sense. It also might explain why the beginning of Spiderman Homecoming said 8 years later rather than 4 years later (then again that could have just been a mistake). Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing the Antman sequel more than I was looking forward to seeing Infinity War.

they are time traveling. the most realistic theory is at the end of the movie when when he sent the signal and we saw captain marvel's logo he wasn't summoning her or awakening her like i thought. it was releasing protocols for either an already existing time machine, or the plans to create one (which is why stark was needed, zuri survivied and why rocket is conveniently stuck on earth) they create the time machine or start it up, cap, hawkeye/ronin/antman/black widow go back in time and save mar vell at the last minute. meanwhile the rest travel via thor to find thanos.

since it's now confirmed captain marvel in addition to her power will also have the nega bands, when they come back from time either with her or able to catch up with her in present time, she'll port them over to wherever thanos is at or to wherever they need to be to defeat thanos

There is a spoiler discussion thread where we talked about this

Here is the key to it all
Like LSN said been reading comics all my life hell look at my avi but that shit was more epic than I dared to dream.

IMO the key to it all is this ...HOW THEY BRING THEM BACK!!!

It reminds me of bats in dark knight rises.

When bane broke his shit I couldn't believe they actually did that shit :eek2:

And then they went the most half ass, non making any damn sense route, to not only get him healed but extra strong to beat bane :dunno: who rolled over like a bitch.

But I fully trust marvel to continue this story in a way that is both entertaining and will make a ton of sense.

I too think some form of time travel will be involved BUT these cats get and understand their source material and the only way thanos is EVER defeated is on a psychological slip he makes.

Like I said above I look forward to marvel resolving this in a satisfying manner that makes sense.

It's probably going to be addressed in Capt. Marvel coming in March 2019. That movie is supposed to be set in the 90s, I believe, so it goes to someone's time travel theory...

Highlight below only if you saw BOTH secret endings of Infinity Wars

Captin Marvel was whom Nick was texting on that old ass pager (hint hint) at the end of the of the 2nd Extra scene before he turned to dust too ...

Spoilers and the discussion are just going to ruin your excitement for the film when it comes out.
Do yourself a favor and move on to another movie in the mean time.

the movies that do come out before the next Infinity War, all take place before the previous IW. Ant-Man, i believe takes place right after Civil War, where he gets of the raft. And Captain Marvel takes place in the 80s or 90s.

Comic heads already know what happens. And it was hinted at the very very end of the movie. People think Thanos is the most powerful super being in Marvel Universe. He is not.

Research Carol Danvers as much as possible.

Gamora’s sister steals Thanos ‘s glove, reverses time, and brings everyone back.

At least that’s what this young cat at work told me happened in the comics.

Bro...even in Binary form, Carol Danvers would have a problem with Thanos if we're actually going by the comics...
