Racist piece of shit GOP Senator's Husband Snubs Vice President Kamala Harris' Handshake During Swearing-In Ceremony

Even after she lost the presidential race, these racist maga cracKKKas still can't help themselves, smh.

I truly hate racist pieces of CAC shit. :smh:

do you think white people that shake your hand aren't racists?

they're just more blatant. most whites are racists, regardless of party

Why care so much?
Folks zooming in, giving analogies, and looking at videos from 11 years ago, because a random non politician CAC didn't want to shake her hand? Whining about it doesn't garner respect. How is shaming someone to shake hands a show of power or respect? Trump and Biden didn't shake hands at their debate.

Personally, I don't like shaking hands and wish we ended the formality. If two people don't like each other, why do they have to shake hands? A head nod of acknowledgment should be sufficient. I've seen enough CACs leave the restroom, sneeze, and pick their noses without washing their hands.

Do you think he'd do that if Newt Gingrich, Karl Rove or Moscow Mitch McConnell were standing there? Cane or no cane, he'd find a way to be respectful. That miserable pile of filth knew exactly what he was doing. To be honest, until they clearly show themselves to be different, especially now in the era we're about to go into, I expect any white person I come across to be an anti-black, Trump-supporting enemy. It'll make getting through the next four years a lot safer.

You need to leave the house more and interact with real people.

You gotta peel back the layers. And why put yourself in their shoes to explain away their actions?

I'm not defending his actions. He was wrong to not shake the Vice President's hand. The occasion was to honor his wife who was swearing in. Where I seem to disagree with some of the posters is the importance they are attaching to it. Whining about a nobody CAC not shaking her hand actually empowers him.

It was an extremely bad look. If he didn't want to shake her hand or is that disgusted by her why show up. I'm not gonna fault anyone for calling him out or inflating the situation because since 2016, America has been a dysfunctional shit show with white folk being the stars of the show. Plus let's face it, there is an extremely good chance that old white dude's actions were fueled by prejudice and bigotry.

them CAC would hate me cause I NEVER shake white hands NEVER. they r nasty no washing hands after bathroom digging in their nose and ass people. I might if Im feeling cool fist bump them but never shake hands with them and its funny cause at the office one of them clearly noticed that and asked me why I dont shake hands and I told him cause people r nasty and white people especially

You proved my point .
My point is that it isn't necessarily because of race. Trump has turned down quite a few CACs handshakes. Personally, I think it is because she is a woman. Some men don't shake women's hands. Or it could be that he just doesn't like her. Either way, I don't think it is as big of a deal as people are making it. Joe Biden not stepping down so that Kamala could be the first Black female President after he stepped down as a candidate, was far more damaging and disrespectful than this unknown CAC not shaking her hand.

Me too. I generally avoid shaking hands for pleasantries. I pretty much only do it because of social standards related to masculinity. Shaking a man's hand firmly while looking him in the eye is a tradition that my Father taught me early. Shaking women's hand actually feels weird to me. If I know them, I generally hug em.

Trump was a bad example seeing that he has a history of racism, prejudice and bigotry and he's an egotistical asshole.
If white folk wanted Kamala as president, she would've been president. Biden has nothing to do with Kamala losing, neither the state of the economy, etc that they try to present as a cover for their bullshit.

Doug Emhoff, Kamala Harris’ husband, stepped in to protect his wife from a viral handshake snub. He made that bitch ass cracker apologize.

Doug Emhoff, the husband of former Vice President Kamala Harris, was out for blood at President Donald Trump’s inauguration, deliberately snubbing a man who refused his wife’s offer of a handshake earlier this month, according to CNN.

On Monday, Emhoff, who served as second gentleman of the United States from 2021 to 2025, rejected a handshake from Bruce Fischer, husband of Sen. Deb Fischer of Nebraska. Emhoff brought up the moment Fischer appeared to refuse Harris’ proffered hand at the Republican senator’s swearing-in on Jan. 3.

A viral video of that incident showed Fischer holding the Bible in one hand, and a cane in the other, while his wife recited the oath. When the the then-vice president extended her hand to Fischer for a handshake, he nodded in return but maintained a neutral expression.

“I’m not going to bite, don’t worry,” a visibly embarrassed Harris said at the time.

Emhoff hasn’t been able to forgive Fischer for the snub, a source familiar with the matter told CNN.

“Why would you try to shake my hand when you wouldn’t shake my wife’s hand?” Emhoff reportedly told Bruce Fischer at the ceremonial tea at the White House prior to Trump’s swearing-in, the source said.

Fischer later apologized for swerving Harris’ handshake, CNN said.

The Daily Beast has contacted a spokesperson for Harris for comment.

The awkward exchange between Harris and Fischer on Jan. 3 drew mixed reactions at the time, although some MAGA supporters were quick to defend the senator’s husband.

“He has a cane in one hand and the Bible in the other... which one did she expect him to drop?” one said.

“Whatever you think you stand for, that’s just not cool. If you think the left is terrible, doing this doesn’t make you a better problem,” another commenter tweeted, in support of Harris. “This is never the way for the world to heal or grow. If he did it on purpose, that is very childish for an older man.”
