Rapper JayDaYoungan shot outside Louisiana home, dead at 24
The 24-year-old rapper leaves behind a young son.

I'm writing to my local congress person. Think you need at least a gold single to be considered a rapper. Anything less than that you should be referred to as "a nigga making youtube videos"These niggas are not rappers mannn

Maybe I'm just getting old because imo what passes for rap today is just crap. I remember thoughtful cyphers written by the truly talented rappers of old but now all I hear from the majority of rappers today is all about disrespecting black women, getting rich by any means necessary and senseless killing.![]()

one thing I stressed to my folks
don’t bring drama to this house, that wasn’t here before you started playing around with music
It's just a bunch of dudes out here trying to live the life they're talking about in their "music" dissing other people and waving guns around people who have no respect for life.Maybe I'm just getting old because imo what passes for rap today is just crap. I'm telling you....if you're old enough to recall, cats didn't start playing with gun and gang culture en masse until it was introduced into the music. No reason why 15 and 16 year olds should have been pulling drive bys in the burbs. Some people today will hate to admit it, but those black politicians in the 90s were right.
The music was poison.
On top of that, it's seemingly the ONLY reflection that black America had of itself in the mainstream.....and the programming did exactly what it was intended to do.
RIP to all the teenagers and young adults who lost their lives to that shit. They would be parents and grandparents today.
Now they're forever young.
More evidence that the system actively seek greedy and dumb single mothers, you know, they type looking for a come up via their children (being that their hopes of finding that Santa Christ baby dady window has harshly closed shut in their faces).man there’s this lil cat in my around.
been knowing the cat for a long time
In elementary school he called himself liking my daughter.
I knew his father since junior high…
The daddy went to catholic schools(junior high and high school). As an adult, dude became a local policeman.
So, I felt that was a positive situation, not that I went out my way to encourage the friendship.
I meant them kids were 3rd & 4th grade, he’ll they probably were still pissing on themselves.
but fast forward to middle school
lil dude decide he wanted to rap
So he started recording songs
His moms was he’s number 1 supporter… she would tell folks go check his videos out etc.
this probably when he was in the 6th grade
the first song was, folks was thinking “look at lil man”
but sure as clockwork the bulsshit started
songs about getting money,
Dumb shit
I even heard lil man was playing with a gun, on Snapchat
All I said was, “that sounds about right”
my ole lady deleted all their accounts from her page because of that dumb shit…
Crazy thing is that don’t think the bullshit will stop. The mother seem like the dominant parent, plus last year the father got killed riding a 4 wheeler
These niggas are not rappers mannn
waanna be, local or a better word Aspiring probably should be connected to these fellows
Are these really "rappers" or just gang members talking shit in the studio and mocking those that they have victimized in real life? I was a "rapper" and I didn't have to keep my head on a swivel because of something I did or said. Rappers had beef, and every now and then, it led to hand throwing, but it was mostly dis tracks. These dudes are getting bulleted up on the regular. Shit, there was one "rapper" in Miami that got it immediately after making bail. Stupid ass dude getting on social media and inviting wolves to the cookout, and get got when the invitees accept said invitation. This screams of gang shit. Quit calling these dumb asses "rappers".
That’s because them cats you listened to aren’t street like that. Spice 1 is from Hayward and he got pressed by a lot of Oakland niggas for trying to pass off like he from Oakland. Times are different now. It's just a bunch of dudes out here trying to live the life they're talking about in their "music" dissing other people and waving guns around people who have no respect for life.
I look at "gangster rap" artists I grew up on like Spice 1, he talked that gangster shit, Thug life shit, but he did it with the skill of being able to put words together too.
These little nigglets... I don't know what the fuck they're doing. But being a rapper is more dangerous than being a soldier nowadays
Rapper is the new “inner city”.These niggas are not rappers mannn
Trust me I know, my peeps drop a song every Fridaybecause you haven't heard of them doesn't mean some aren't rappers
You know you can search and see videos on YouTube
Life is a gamble. What’s your wager? Instead of betting on Fan Duel, white gamblers place their bets by streaming singles and watching and liking and subscribing the YouTube videos. And this is how they force us to compete to the death. To Fight for their dollars. We have glorified the violence and the drugs for so long it's like a rite of passage for these impressionable kids who haven't had guidance.
They are bragging about having "ops". It used to be a female thing to be on arguing on Facebook and IG but I guess Ice T was right some of y'all kneegas are bitches too.
Do you think these brothers have wills and trusts?Record companies love a dead rapper.
Can still make money off of their music, controversy sells but it’s not like death, and they don’t have to deal with the “rapper” and make new deals.
Despite all that, RIP to the young man. Always sad when these “rappers” die senselessly.
These stories leave out "Inspiring" in the title. Every mofo without a job is a rapper
Auto correct But that's my L for the day. They definitely leave that out because the word is "Aspiring".
