Larry was a friend of mine. He toward with some of the best musicians in the world. Was a part of the DC Go-Go scene before coming to San Francisco. He even gave this amazing Ted talk.
We only played together once. A funeral for my friend's mom. There was about 200 people there and EVERYBODY knew Larry. When he played on the street people would come from all over the world to give him $100 bills.
In many ways he was one of the most incredible people I've ever known in my life.
He will be missed. Rest in power Larry
