I don't get it. What's the problem with modifying your vehicle if it doesn't cause d a safety problem. Can't raise your front bumper but it's okay to ride around with Confederate license plates and displaying that racist flag on your back windshield???.

Living in Charlotte, right on the SC border, some of these trucks sit so dam high it's almost impossible to see a car directly in front of you.

News clip shows mild lifts. It's the serious offenders they are not showing.

When your vehicle is tilted like that, you wont have a good view of the road. They could hit someone easily.

I went hunting, and we were going up a hill, and all you could see was the sky. I imaging it's something like that. We had to wind down the side windows to gauge where we were at.

Yea A lot of laws dont make any fuckin sense, this is NOT one of them......

IF you have to sleep in your car that shit look comfortable, but to ride around like that, looks kind of silly,

especially if your wheels look to small.

I can see fools putting tractor wheels in the front of their suv's and regular wheels in the back

What's crazy is the white boys started this trend.

Of course when Brothers picked this up, it's now illegal.

Regardless, it's still a safety concern.

SC is near dead last in education.

Legislators should be focused on that, jobs, technology, erasing racist culture that leaves them left behind in the world.

SC is a very restrictive state, speaking from experience having grown up there. Anything against the grain is quickly shut down.

However this is a safety issue no doubt but also has some racism and ageism attached to it.

The young rednecks ride around with all kinds of modifications. There was even a state law that you could have a gun without a permit in your truck supposedly for hunting purposes. But we all know it was meant for whites to be armed against Blacks. That's SC for ya.

As well as it SHOULD be.... ESPECIALLY in SCHOOL ZONES or where CHILDREN are,

its one of those stupid trends that really need to fade away... there shouldnt be any problem

with raising your shit up, its practical expecially in flood zones, but to do it so, yo shit is uneven,

and limits your sight, is pretty fuckin stupid.

I can see a lot of children and dogs getting ran over...because of so much blind side.

LA has the lowriders,Houston has the Slabs,Miami the donks,Bay area the scrappers and everywhere else just has cars and everthing else in between.

End the bullshit and save some lives on that road.

1. Half these fuckers are also riding with high beams on because now their lights are pointed towards the sky.
2. Almost no one does it properly, they just cut springs and linkages so their handling and camber is shit, especially at speed.
3. Can't see pedestrians.
4. Brakes are rarely modified to handle the bigger front wheels so they tend to fade a lot quicker than normal trucks.
5. Trucks and SUVs are already more dangerous to people in cars in a accident because of their height, the extra height could be even more deadly in a accident.

I was just about to come in here and say that this is stupid as hell to be a law then I saw some of the exaggerations and realized that yeah this is dangerous as fuck
