SEE IT: 'Hookers and cocaine!': Man's hilarious response on live TV to Powerball jackpot question goes viral
It wasn’t exactly the answer she was expecting.
Ophelia Young, a reporter for Fox 5 Las Vegas, got a shock when she asked a man waiting to buy a Powerball lottery ticket what he’d spend the cash on if he won.
“Bunch of hookers and cocaine,” the man said bluntly.
Breaking into laughter, Young then said: “We were hoping for a different answer. That’s probably not the answer that we’re looking for.”
Now, the man identified only as Isaac said he was caught off guard by the question and described the worldwide attention as “unexpected."

Isaac told Fox 5 Las Vegas he would buy "hookers and cocaine" if he won the Powerball lottery jackpot.
Although he had spotted the TV cameras as he waited to buy his ticket, he said he did not expect to be interviewed.
“I had no idea they were coming up to me, I was on my phone minding my own business,”he told KLUC 98.5.
“There’s a mic in my face and I’m just caught a little off guard. I just answered the question and I thought I was done, and she kept going.
“And I was like, 'Oh here we go'. She kind of made me feel a little dumb out there, so I gave her a dumb answer.”

Ophelia Young broke into laughter after the candid answer.
Isaac also admitted that as he was married and had two children, he wouldn’t actually be spending any winnings on what he told the TV station.
“No, no. Definitely wouldn’t be. My wife would kick my ass anyway,” he laughed.
Instead, he said “a nice vehicle” would be the first big gift he’d buy himself.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot now stands at approximately $800 million.
