Yes long as it's apart of something broader like how to tie a tie,check the oil in a car, change a flat tire, prepare food other than a microwave.
Home economics class was straight bullshit the teacher was lazy and only wanted to bake cookies....which I didn't give a damn I needed for her to give me a passing grade

Most kids come from one parent households. If you never get to see your mom and dad going on a date how would you know? My parents took me out to eat that's how I learned I was blessed. Most people now a days never have even been out to eat with both parents.
If we don't teach kids that don't have access then in one generations these values will be forgotten.
