These grocery store Oxtail look like trash. I know it's a lot of brothers who cook on the board, any mail orders or anything that offers a better quality of oxtail than places like Wapmart, Costco, Ingles(for my southern folks) etc??
I wouldn't trust any mail anything for meat. It may be difficult but a butcher shop is your best bet. Try to make friends with the butcher and he/she might cut the fat off the tails before weighing them. That's the difference with a meat market - usually it's not the same people. It might be, but a butcher shop is sure to be the same folks. Sometimes family.
