I liked the finale. We'll have to wait until 2025 for season 3 though due to the strike.

I need to watch "In a mirror, darkly" again. It was pointed out that that episode established that the Gorn can survive in the vacuum of space.

Season 2
Episode 9 - 10

Watched these two this afternoon.

Episode 9 I read the synopsis before watching it, I was tempted to skip it cuz it didn’t sound interesting, but I gave in just in case something happens that might come up later in the series.

They gave a good explanation for why at the beginning so I continued watching. And the episode played out better than expected. Overall, it basically was done to show the actors talents. The episode would have played better if it was darker.

A big reveal did happen in the episode with Kirk.

Episode 10, the season finale put the series back in line.

The series has hinted on The Gorn debuting since season one, this episode they do.

In TOS, they looked like this…

They got a upgrade for this series and are closer to looking/behaving like the Xenomorph‘s from the “Alien” franchise. We didn’t see too much of them in this episode, but it looks we will in Season 3 from what was shown in the cliffhanger.

Season 3 has been approved, but it’s looking to be delayed for production cuz of the strike.

We will find out later the status of season 3.

Looking forward to it.

Production Begins For ‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ Season 3, ‘Section 31’ Movie Starts In January

The third season of Strange New Worlds began filming on Monday, December 11 in Toronto, just as we reported it would last month. The start of production was announced by members of the crew, including co-executive producer/writer Davy Perez, who shared a photo of his chair on the set with the message “Strange New Worlds Season 3 Day 1 of Shooting… Time to get back in the chair.”
