Yes I know.. I know ... fuck football...
Well this is an alternative league and it actually has some legit sponsors behind it. Unlike the XFL or USFL.. the AAFL is not directly competing against the NFL. They also have several tv deals and some talent on the field and behind the scenes.

I’m looking foreword to seeing the type of football product they have in place tonight.

I’m gonna check it out
But after checking out the leagues QBs I don’t expect much
Just another job for failed, in athletic white QBs. The play will be unexciting

The Alliance of American Football (AAF) is a professional American football league founded by Charlie Ebersol and Bill Polian. It is set to commence play in February 2019, one week following the National Football League's Super Bowl LIII championship game. The AAF consists of eight centrally owned and operated teams; all but one (Salt Lake) are located in cities on or south of the 35th parallel and all but one (Birmingham) in metropolitan areas that have at least one major professional sports franchise. Six of the eight initial teams are in markets that do not have an NFL team, the exceptions being Atlanta and Arizona.

I'm checking it out tonight, on CBS :yes::yes:

The Apollos have been doing a pretty decent media blitz here locally in Orlando.

Couldn't go to tonight's game but might check one during the season.

I'll check out the ATL vs Orlando game, though I won't be watching any of the games on NFL Network.

I wonder if them or XFL will be successful enough to possibly expand to adding a team to play in Raleigh. There's an NHL team & minor league baseball here but I'd luv to have a professional basketball or football team here so I could attend games.

I’m liking it so far.

Looking at the lineup of cities, one thing the AAF has going for it that the XFL may have made a mistake on is the AAF is in primary non NFL cities, save for Atlanta and Arizona.

Damn near all the XFL teams will be in NFL cities except for St. Louis.

The AAF focusing on non NFL markets may be huge for them to grow a following.

Orlando game is pretty good. This league is better setup with a lot of NFL heads trying to make this a developmental league. I like it so far. I will probably go to a game this year.

those were quality games

the downside are these wack ass cracka QBs
some scramblers would have added some excitement

Lot of interceptions in the San Antonio vs San Diego game.

Other than that it was well within the margins of what I expected.

Imma watch mo.

*two cents*

As long as they don’t make it a boring ass qb driven league like the NFL, I’m in!
Qb’s are the most faggoty, boring, dudes on the field and the nfl went away from the run game to make those lames the stars and most dumb niggas fell for it.

I hear niggas regurgitate the same bullshit rhetoric they hear on espn about these white qb’s.
Foh and bring back the days of dope running backs!

the san diego QB got BLOWN the fuck up vs san antonio last night. helmet knocked off and everything. So refreshing to see no penalty (was a legal hit). reminds me of the NFL a couple of decades ago.

I feel the same way :(
The UFL was supreme trash though. Terrible marketing. Old boring coaching. It was doomed to fail.

There's no room for 3 Pro football leagues plus college football. I think AAFL and the XFL will merge in order to survive if their 1st season doesn't go well. I was perfectly fine with the NFL and college football. Is the existence of these 2 leagues because of players taking a knee during the National Anthem?
