Oh no doubt, but for the FBI to issue a warning, it’s going on wayyyyy too much.

Used to be is right. I lived in Silver Spring MD for over a decade which is Montgomery county. They started pushing (gentrification) black folks out of DC and into PG county.
When lower income folks moved into PG it started driving down home prices in areas where well to do black folks once lived.
Now PG county is a shell of its former glory.
It has it's nice parts, but mainly areas outside of the beltway....PG country is broken into 3 parts - north, central, and southern....Places like Bowie, Upper Marlboro, and Fort Washington.....
The problem is that the school system sucks....Most people with school aged children either put their kids in private school or have moved down to Charles Country where the schools are better...Actually, Charles Co. took the spot away from PG County as the county with more black professionals...
Most of the black professionals I know with kids live in Montgomery Co. (Silver Spring, Rockville, Gaithersburg) or Northern VA (alexandria, arlignton, woodbridge, loudon)....Schools are 10X better hence why housing is much more also...

PG County is like Mexico now. Soooooooo many new migrants….. soooooooo many….. lived in Hyattsville for 8 yrs after leaving DC- now we moving to Columbia. Great schools, land, nowhere near as congested, folk seem nicer too
Yup in Northern PG. I lived in Mt. Rainier for a few years before I bought my crib in NE, but you ain't never lied.....
Hyattsville, Colmar Manor, Bladensburg, and Riverdale is little Mexico.....

I lived in Alexandra/Arlington for several years but I had Friends living in PG 95-05 they had these big beautiful houses great schools shit seemed like a Black Mecca. Most moved to Montgomery county and Northern VA now

Same link you posted, also under the census part, refers to the quickly growing Hispanic numbers in east riverdale and Langley park which sandwich Hyattsville. When i first got here it was still pretty Black but not no more. Like Chicago, NY & LA we got AN ASS TON of new residents and drivers.
DC cracked down on scooters and mopeds these complexes in Hyattsville full of the same. Ya can’t find nowhere to park, urgent care fulla Latins with no insurance and 8000 kids. All the fast food places now have Latinos working from cash register to manager
