The famous actress is getting something in this deal that is quite valuable. In the agreement, Mowry will get full ownership of the family's home in Studio City. It should be noted, that this house is worth $4.3 MILLION. According to Redfin, it "is a 4,871 square foot house on an 8,496 square foot lot with 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. This home is currently off the market - it last sold on October 30, 2015, for $2,600,000. In other words, they might quite the profit since buying the home.

It should be noted, it's possible Tia paid for the home and is just keeping it in their split.

In the end, Tia will not pay a dime in child support or spousal support.

One interesting clause in this agreement has to do with "new romantic partners." The former couple entered an entire explanation in the agreement for when and how you are allowed to introduce a new person to the kids. Specifically, it states, "Each party is restrained from introducing the minor children to a new romantic partner until the party has been in an exclusive relationship with the romantic partner for at least six months."

Famous Ex-Couple Agrees Not To Speak Negatively About Each Other In The Future

It continues, "Each party is further restrained from permitting his or her new romantic partner from spending overnights with the minor children are with that custodial parent during the first six months of the exclusive relationship.

Also, Tia and Cory are not allowed to speak negatively about the other one in front of the kids. The agreement spells out this as neither party shall speak "in a negative, disrespectful or derogatory manner to or about the other party in the children's presence or within hearing distance of the minor children." Plus, they are forced to make sure other family members and friends comply with this order.

As we reported, Mowry announced the couple's divorce on Instagram, saying, "I have always been honest with my fans, and today is no different. I wanted to share that Cory and I have decided to go our separate ways. These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness." She continued, "We will maintain a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children. I am grateful for all the happy times we had together and want to thank my friends, family, and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter moving forward in our lives."

He is a dumb ass :smh:

Kevin Costner's wife ASKED for a divorce, signed a prenup. He quickly paid her $1M, offered her 40K/month all costs for the 3 kids. She was supposed to leave his mansion in 30 days, bitch said nope. Pay me $300K/month and maybe I will leave.

Tia ain't Costner rich, but gotdamn at least get spousal support for as long as the kids are under 18 and half the value of the house.

Women get it all the time.

Masculine ego gone wrong on this one:angry:

What if the spouse who filed for divorce was cheated on?
Court system don’t care who got cheated on. It’s like saying I bought the tv in the living room. The system looks at the whole house oppose of who bought what.

Most the time men are taught to be the provider. So they voluntarily pay the mortgage and put up the down payment. Now when divorce comes you’re still obligated to pay the mortgage, because you signed a contract with your name on it for X amount of years.

Trust me bro the system is designed against the men. Women majority of the time can’t do no wrong.

Neo the R&B singer is a good example of his divorce. He got his head cracked in the court room.

Fuck that nigga! He should’ve been grateful that Tia picked his broke ass up from the bus stop 20 years ago.
Damn, you mad because she decided to pick him knowing he was broke and could've gotten a dude who was rich that was in the industry like her.....Besides women should honor their marriage. Papoose and Hardrict got the short end of the stick being loyal to women who didn't respect them.

I know. I went through a divorce where she was largely at fault for the end of the marriage (by just about everyone's account), but she was never held accountable for her actions - in fact, she even got paid for her actions. I was able to reach a settlement before a trial, but still I lost a lot of money. I know it could've been worse if it went to a judge. I did learn a lesson. I've come to realize that you can't put a price on peace of mind.

I don't plan to get married again; it would have to take a helluva woman for me to even remotely consider it, and I don't see any woman who meets that standard. I do worry about being alone in my later years.

I do believe in Karma, and I do believe she will get hers in the end. As they say, "The Dildo of Consequences rarely arrives lubed." (pause, no Diddy, etc.)
