i been on both coasts and i heard this back on the west coast and thinks it abtly applies: PEOPLE ON THE EAST COAST ARE KIND BUT NOT NICE. (meaning they will help your stupid azz but cuss you out in the process). PEOPLE ON THE WEST COAST ARE NICE BUT NOT KIND. meaning they will see you struggle and do absolutely nothing to help you, but encourage you in the noncommital way.
