Writing is predictable and corny this season
I miss the original cast.
They went full into the Reacher superhero side... I think this was supposed to be the Avengers.
the lead is still incredible but it's a little too procedural this time.
I hope season 3 they focus a little more on the story and create a solid villain and mystery and likeable supporting characters.
I'm still having a good time cause every episode still has at least one line and one stunt I have to rewind.
Yeah what happened to the brotha season 1
He was on a few other projects like House of Usher on Netflix so I'm not sure if he wasn't asked back. Even his first season girlfriend got a lot of opportunities off that.
But I think they REALLY connected with the audience and a real effort should have been made to bring them back even for a brief cameo.
We don't KNOW this new group of people and while the flashbacks are good since they are already dead its not clicking like it should.
I love the Reacher character so I'm in regardless and I like his black partner too.
The humor is good it doesn't drag its NOT bad it just needed a better script concerning the team.
I NEED a better story next season.

Reacher never stayed in one place long enough for there to be the same guy for consecutive Seasons other than Reacher
The writing isn't as good in season 2, but I'm just trying to enjoy it for the ride that it is

No he's not. I don't know what your definition of a poor actor is, but he's pretty good. You can tell by the eyes. How the eyes take in the entire scene. Plus his line delivery is really good.
If you remember the first season of Fresh Prince When Will Smith was moving his lips to everyone else's lines, that's poor acting. Now I'm not trying to say that this guy is deserving of an Emmy or an Oscar, but he's solid at least
Remember, he's acting within a role. Jack Reacher was exactly like this guy. He was stoic, not really emotional.
Bad acting was the black guy who carjacked the woman in the first few minutes of the second season. His line delivery was poor and mechanical. Plus, whoever wrote those lines needs to be smacked

but I think if your doing a series having an existing network building season after season will pay dividends.
Jack Reacher moves around, so it makes sense to have a different crew every season. As I said he never stays around in one place long enough as per his MO
The most important character is Jack Reacher. All each season has to have is interesting Side characters, or at least supremely competent ones. Pair of that with a strong villain and/or a good Kansas City Shuffle and you have a good show
I get that. But that doesn't preclude you from laying down connective tissue. Why waste investing an entire season creating strong supporting characters to just dump them all? As we see this season it's not easy. And they wisely brought back his second in command. This is tv, your world building, which will only enhance the significance of the main character when that world is threatened or falls apart.
The show is a he man soap opera so I'm good but it needs to remember EVERYTHING it got right that first season.
Not just the perfect lead actor and great fight choreography.
Unless that is exactly all they want and in that case I'm all good also.
