TLH probably leases or is buying (financed) there kitchen equipment from US Foods (check the prices for commercial fryers, ranges & equipment, refigerators, freezers, dishwashers, bar equipment), the also sell plates, bowls, silverware, glassware etc. So those payments alone can be 4-5 figures easily. Then you start adding in food & supply orders.

One of the articles that I read stated that TLH agreed to pay attorney's fees, interest (possibly outside of the extra 1.5% on those past due invoices). They are probably hitting them over the head for those attorney's fees.

All the articles clearly state that the partner in TLH AGREED to pay the back invoices & the additional 1.5% interest fee, she also agreed to pay attorney cost associated with US Foods having to file the suit. The thing about filing a lawsuit is that you know you''re going to have to present ironclad evidence at trial. So a company would have to be be willing to pay a ton of legal fees to go to knowingly go to trial to lose for some reason.

So we'll see what happens when it gets to court.
