Lerone Murphy shined in the UFC on ESPN 65 main event against Josh Emmett and is ready for his next challenge on his quest for gold.
I'm gonna start following him closely, hopefully he gets his chance in the main event being on PPV.
Good title fight with Volk and Lopes.
Lopes has proven himself in recent years, and is 7-1 in the past 3 years.
Volk has been near the top of the division for quite some time. His only losses in the UFC are to Ilia and Islam (x2). He's beaten everyone else, including multiple wins over Max Holloway and other legit fighters (Yair, Zombie, Ortega, Aldo, Mendes, etc). His only other loss in his career was 12 years ago to a random guy in Australia.

Agreed. 6 years in the UFC and no pro losses thus far.
See if he can win a title for across the pond fighters like Edwards, Bisping, etc.

Agreed. I liked how he said post-fight he'd like a Top 5 (or Top 3) fighter next.
Get his name in the mix with potential fellow contenders.
I watch a lot of UFC but missed this brotha. I thought Emmett would eventually catch him but he was very solid defensively and frustrated him with his movement. Solid victory.
Don't feel bad, I've missed out on some fighters as well, especially the ones who should be paid more attention to that aren't well known yet.
Damn good fights tonight.
