Undecided voters & persuadable voters

When he actually says something heinous, persuadable people are less likely to listen because his opponents cried wolf so many times.

They wont listen because they dont care. They are so deeply cemented in their idol worship that nothing he says will ever sway their allegiance. Has zero to do with anyone crying wolf. Grab em by the pussy, shitting on gold star families, clowning McCain for being captured, good people on both sides, hang Mike Pence, inciting the insurrection, calling insurrectionist hostages and promising to free them, rape convictions, porn star payoffs, election fraud .... there is no shortage of heinous words or deeds.. There is no one persuadable left. If you havent been convinced this guy is a trash human being by now nothing will ever convince you.

It’s easy to say that but you ignore the reality that there are undecided voters out there. There are 2016 Trump to 2020 Biden voters, Clinton/Trump voters, there are people who could legitimately vote Harris or Trump (or not at all) in November. That’s why Harris has a campaign!

I’m not defending these people and can’t articulate their incomprehensible reasoning (which can be wildly different from person to person) but you have to understand that they exist.

There absolutely are persuadable voters out there. You’re smart enough to retract that statement. I get where you’re coming from but it’s an emotional rather than intellectual argument— it’s objectively untrue.


Edit to add: Also, Harris gaining in the polls over Biden in the past week is proof of this! Potential voters were persuaded to support the Democrat! And more of them have to be for her to win!

There was nothing remotely emotional about my response. I provided a factual accounting of events and illustrated his support remains constant. Anyone claiming to still be undecided (or persuadable) are pretending. Polls lie.

You obviously don’t have a very broad circle. Go do some voter registration and you’ll learn how uninformed some people are and how fickle they can be. Go to Pennsylvania in October and do one day for Harris and you’ll learn how wrong you are. I’ve persuaded people firsthand— I know that you are wrong from experience.

And poll deniers are almost as bad as climate deniers— some polls are bad but to claim they all lie is absurd. You think the Harris campaign invests in polling because they’re stupid?

One factual statement makes me emotional and another makes me a poll denier (whatever the fuck that is)?

Are you not aware just how unreliable and flat out wrong polling has been in most recent national elections? Are you sure you even keep up with this stuff?

It was pretty reliable in the most recent elections, the midterms.
