It matters because I don't expect anyone from outside of TN to know who they are if they haven't gotten a national spotlight like these just did. You know who all the state reps are in all 50 states as well as the congressional candidates? I don't even know all congressional ones.

Okay, so it isn't funny if I gotta explain it, so apparently this was my attempt at bad comedy! The comedic tethers would be everybody that was disagreeing with what Tariq was saying. Don't know what the fcuk a tether is, but I tried using it a way that a blind Tariq fan would.
The "powers that be" were the white folks in the GOP who tried to expel them for standing with the people they represent. If they hadn't initiated the fuckery, neither you NOR I would know who they are. The local black folks speak well of them, so that's what I'm going by. I didn't know any of the white folks either, but now the world does and it might cost them their jobs and/or their freedom.

I remember back at the 2018 presedential election and Tariq was pushing the Don't Vote narrative. Back then I was rocking with Tariq. Followed his podcasts, Twitter, etc... I wasn't down with not voting. Not without knowing next steps, one Saturday morning he is talking on Twitter about this so I join in asking what would we do next after the election, cause more than likely Republicans are going to win without our support. His response: 'We demand tangibles!" WHO demands them? Do we have a person that is taking these concerns to the Democratic party? What exactly are the tangibles that we're demanding? I got called an agent and blocked on Twitter. Now I get it if I was clowning him, but these are valid ?uestions that somebody SHOULD have answers for if they're asking an entire group of people to throw their vote away. From there everything has been these projects that only satisfy Tariq and not really anyone else

It's not a matter of "rocking" with anyone. I get ALL the information available from various people and source and make informed choices. Chew up the meat, spit out the bones. All the social media political analysis/activist are con artist and hucksters. They also sprinkle truth in there too. It's up to me to use discernment and personal experience to find it. So I don't get butt hurt when they say something I don't agree with. My issues with all this is I don't like the label "hate group". I've seen this diaspora war unfolding. I talk shit but I've literally seen some immigrant group, attack black folks then act like victims when folks clap back. Bottom line no group of black people should be calling any other group of black folks a hate group. It feels like if folks repeat it enough, white daddy is going to come shut it down. Say what you want about TN, he built his platform. If you feel some kind of way about what he says, build your own platform to combat it.
