Perhaps it's different wherever you live. But every document I've ever signed , these ask if you're Black, white, Asian, or Inidan.
The 2nd part they ask if you're ethnically Hispanic.

Well Hispanics/Latinos can mark both, since Hispanic/Latino is not a race.

The genetic diversity of the "Black race" pretty much shows there's no science behind racial classifications. You can take two random Black people from Africa and genetically they'd be less alike than a person from Finland is to a person from India just to use an example.
They're only considered the same race because they have a similar phenotype -- complexion, hair texture, facial features, etc.

I think @mailboxpimp said he legally identifies as white. He understands what color codes in this corporation really mean.
