I'm a conservative. Always admired Reagan. I don't like the 'woke progressive left', and supported DeSantis in the primary. I know Harris is a lib and never liked her. But last night made it obvious to me that Harris has more respect for our institutions, our cultural norms and for our American traditions than Trump. He's so awful it makes her look Reaganesque.

When Harris said Trump's own generals, his Secretary of Defense, Joint Chiefs of Staff and National Security Advisor won't support him and say he's dangerously unfit, a disgrace and a wannabe dictator, Trump immediately perked up and went on a weird rant about how Victor Orban, an Eastern European autocrat, loves him and tells him how strong he is and how much he likes him. As much as I already despise him, that turned it up a notch. Unbelievable.

The guy is just completely un-American and has no idea or understanding of what makes our country what it is, what makes a Republic, and what democracy means. He doesn't understand service or the role of a citizen statesman. He truly does admire dictators and autocrats like Xi, Putin, and Orban more than anyone on our own team. He admires the characteristics of tyrants that Americans of historically despised and fought against at every turn.

It is in our shared culture, our American DNA to hate the type of people Trump loves.

We all know he called to terminate the Constitution, and led a seditious fake elector plot and a riot at the capital in an attempt to overturn the election. He's clearly completely insane and unfit. Just blows my mind that anyone is still supporting this treasonous, lying fool. He is so completely un-American.

Lord willing, Harris will beat this fool in a landslide, the GOP can rebuild into more of a party and less of a cult, and we can be done with this sad, sorry chapter in American political history.

Seems like everyone is talking about how she baited him, well if she did that so easily what do you think world leaders will do to him. Just shows how weak he is and how easily he can be manipulated. And I would not be surprised if he runs with what his base is saying about the earing microphone. That's what Drake did when his fans said he planted the evidence for Kendrick to find.
That was part of her whole point, but the truth is, we've already seen it happen.

Remember that G8 (?) conference where Putin showed up. Everyone was politely but reasonably avoiding Putin, and they had pretty much shunned Trump, too. Then at a big social event one night, Trump got so annoyed that nobody would talk to him that he went up to and started having a whole-ass conversation with Putin. And then later that same trip, the two of them had a private meeting with none of Trump's staff there. Not even his translator. Lord only knows what may have been discussed there.

The reason he has such a "good" relationship with so many dictators is that he's the only one that doesn't realize they are putting on false faces to cozy up and manipulate him. All you have to do to get him to capitulate is stroke his ego. And alternatively, all you have to do to make him do something irrational is attack that same ego. he is absolutely the worst type of person to be a leader making important decisions.

Trump is done. What people don't like to admit is that there are still a bunch of Republican/conservative voters that aint feeling this retarded fool. They just can't vote for him.

We're all assuming this is the case. I'd like to know what % of "true" Republicans are going to vote the other way out of spite/country before part etc?

Just because a state has X percentage of registered Republicans doesn't mean they're voting for Trump. I guess it's fair to say vice-versa not all registered Democrats are going to vote for Harris.

They will be quiet and will continue to be hypocrites. It's clear who had plans for the country and who did not!

But let's be real here. They're not going to vote for Harris because 1) she's a woman and 2) she's a black woman.

Yep! That's it. We have some black men, some black maga men and that's how they role.

Hold the sister up to 1000% scrutiny and accountability and their white savoir to 0%

There are the racist white folks that hear people of color are going to get home loan assistance, and vote against their own interest. So worried about black people moving into their neighborhood, that they'll happily disadvantage their kids ability to get a home.

And the GOP will vote for it? Is it even constitutional? Would 1/4 and 1/8 blacks like Mahomes and his kids get it?

This shit will never happen the way you want it to. Every person will Paul Mooney up for this shit, and more than just us (Yes my Ancestors were slaves) will get it, and I'm ok with that.

How is affirmative action constituted now?

So he's knows exactly who's about to whip him
Nah. It's because he's been deliberately mispronouncing her name and claiming that nobody knows who she is.

That was not her being polite by any stretch. That was her saying, "Allow me to introduce myself. And this is how you pronounce my name," So from now on, anytime he does mispronounce it, looks even more ignorant. (BTW, he has already gone back to mispronouncing her name.)

But he didn't say it once during the debate...

I was impressed with her going for the handshake at the beginning-- very alpha move.

One thing commentators pointed out that I didn't notice is he didn't look at her the entire night aside from 2-3 slight glances. Didn't look at her, didn't say her name, dude was shook.
