clearly you dont know your history. The only time radical change has happened in american history is thru violence. It took a war to stop slavery and a struggle with much bloodshed to get you your civil rights. And thats within a two party system. Literally all the freedoms and rights you enjoy happened under the 2 party structure you want to up end....understanding that.... how effective is your silent protest??
You say nothing will come from politics yet your citizenship and the fact you can live whereever you want etc etc in american society for the last 100 years came from politics. Who the fuck do you think MLK and all those people were dealing with during the civil rights struggle?
You guys quote and look at Malcolm X's example and philosophy and snort at MLK but look at how shit actually went down with the two of them...

Between the two of us..I have a better shot and potential of getting some kind of result by working the system. A result YOU will enjoy even if its not that the total thing we both agree we should get in its entirety (reparations for example).. I have a better shot at that than you do with standing on the sideline with your arms crossed threatening to hold your breath until you get your demands are met!

It's a fact that it is a mathematically quantifiable reality that popular will has zero correlation to public policy.
what's your plan to change politics as it works? How do you make a two party system into a multiple party system and how does reparations factor into that...
For real. I have several dialects and code-switches now. I speak differently based on who I am around.
* My niggas (my most authentic self)
* My country family (country accent returns)
* My all-black classroom (identifiable black dialect)
* Classroom with at least one white student (standard identifiable dialect)
* Classroom with majority white students (standard identifiable dialect)
* Young children (standard identifiable dialect)
* International people (standard and translatable English)
* Businessmen, CEO, or positions of authority (standard identifiable dialect)
* Room with scientists or academics (standard identifiable dialect)
And there are many more, depending on my situation. But best believe how I speak around black folks is not the same as when I talk around white people. I also gauge education levels and use words my target audience can understand. I know how to read rooms exceptionally well.
My wife, a Republican, has decided to vote for the Democrats. TLDR: I put her quote at the bottom of this post.
She has never voted for a Democrat. She voted for Trump twice. She soured on him big time in his first term and was already fed up with him by the 2020 election, but voted for him again because she walked the party line. And then he pulled everything he did after the election and she said she'd never vote for him again. She supported a different candidate in the GOP primary.
We were on a walk tonight and for the first time, she said she was voting for the Democrats. I asked her why and here's what she said:
"He scares me. I think he is fundamentally evil. I hate that he creates chaos and division and divides the country. He breeds hatred. He uses his supporters as guard dogs and gets them all riled up, while they're on a leash and then points and tells them who he wants attacked, and they attack. It's dangerous. He's beyond narcissistic. He's power hungry and will do anything to get power and keep it. The Republicans are scared of him and will do whatever he says. None of them will stand up to him and do what's right. He divides us to gain power. He intentionally puts people in danger because he wants more power. That's pure evil."
We know who to replace the white worker with. Seriously. This is ADOS in a nutshell. The saddest part about all of this, they will respond to this post in a few seconds with coon/sheep talk but will never respond to a simple question “how can we get reparations, what is the legislative/judicial strategy?”
Worst part about this. The ADOS leaders/founders tout their legal and political backgrounds, but I’ve never seen the action strategy to get shit done.

Obama changed the perception of black folks in America, according to white folks we're all education and successful hence the reason lower income blacks have gotten worse since he left office. Code Switching isn't a successful approach and you shouldn't cape for it.
Hispanics vote red for a reason they protect what they usually do the under-educated blue collar work, we vote against what's really going on within our communities, white folks will use this to further push us out of under-educated jobs, all a game..
So I don't care for that code switching nonsense, it's not a realistic approach and leads to classism.
Don't believe me just watch when kamala wins and in a couple years we complaining about not getting jobs... it will happen.
