Update: Vice President Kamala Harris is now the Democratic presidential nominee

I hear you on all that.

Kamala saying this doesn't move me personally.

But we have to acknowledge the 2 things that she is trying to do with this and let's discuss the best way for her to do it.

1. She is trying to find a way to break the social division in America. Or at least, portray herself as a unity candidate. I think it's a worthwhile goal to have. Well meaning Americans have had enough of how polarized and toxic have become. They want a return to normal and sane politicians/politics.

2. I bet that internally, her Intel is showing that the far left affiliations leave her vulnerable to attacks. I think she is trying to distance herself from them without saying it. Progressives think their ideas are always super popular but they don't realize how they can be turned into attacks from the other side afterwards.

So in your opinion what's the best way for her to do these two things?

She did better in the polls when she was proposing policies to make people's lives better, like expanded housing and measures against price gouging. A progressive proactive agenda.

I think that's a much better path than what she's been doing the past three weeks, the non-stop appeals to Republicans. She certainly has fared worse in the polls with that approach.

"What Cheney understands that you guys don't"

"you guys don't know shit"

I'm a guy with no platform. James Carville has been more critical of Harris than me and his voice reaches millions but you won't disparage him because he's a conservative Democrat just like you.

His new biodoc's title, ironically, is Winning Is Everything.

You gonna say he doesn't know shit about winning elections either? Or maybe, just maybe, criticizing obviously stupid behavior is something that people who know how to win do. :hmm:
1. James Carville's time has passed him by. Take his advice with a grain of salt.
2. I'm not a conservative Dem. I'm nothing like Manchin. I'm just not a socialist like you.
3. What the hell have you guys on the far left won? AOC was elected 6 years ago.

Why does the truth that Cheney is more solidly behind Kamala than the far left is bother you?

Cheney is a former congresswoman. The most notable "far-left" politicians, Bernie & AOC, quickly endorsed Harris. As has the entire Squad, with the exception of Rashida Tlaib.

I really don't know what you're talking about. People on Twitter, I suppose. But Twitter is not real life and nearly every elected "far-left" politician has criticisms of Harris but has forcefully argued on her behalf.

So the real question is why you prefer a caricature over reality.

Yall really have bad memories. Bernie was holding out on endorsing Harris because he wanted a prominent role in her administration. He only gave the endorsement AFTER that info dropped. AOC made a quick shift in her ways when she saw the writing on the wall cause SQUAD members were losing elections and she knew she's vulnerable. Saying no to the Infrastructure Bill while representing areas of Queens that flood regularly makes you vulnerable. Talking shit about Hakeem Jeffries and being associated with a group that would try to primary members of the CBC will make you vulnerable. She saw what happened with Nina Turner when her dumb ass pissed off Clyburn.

He gave a formal endorsement after a few weeks (if that) because he wanted to apply pressure to influence her policies, not because he wanted a role in her administration. There is zero proof to back up your claim, which is based on rumor and innuendo only.

You're doing a lot of reading into motives to assail people you clearly dislike.

AOC backed Biden for his entire campaign, warned that many people trying to push him out wanted an open primary rather than anointment of Harris, then backed Harris fully and immediately.

You can make up motives for her support, just like you can with every other member of Congress. That's conjecture-- I'm talking facts.

Yeah OK. We're just going to ignore just how craven and petty Sanders has been since he came on the scene in 2015 by scamming young white people. Sanders was petty and wanted prominence when he lost the 2016 primaries. He was petty and wanted prominence when he lost the 2020 primary. However, THIS TIME, he wasn't a petty asshole.

Yeah OK.

Everyone and I mean EVERYONE that's been associated with Sanders has been a failure and when push came to shove became amazingly anti Black. Nina Turner, Brianna Joy Gray, the Squad. The only reason AOC survived was cause she very suddenly and very blatantly reinvented herself. She's even stopped lying how she's a Latina from the Bronx since she grew up an hour away in a 95%white area.

Everything surrounding Bernie Sanders has been a great example of the failure of leftist MAGA. And yes the far left has been exactly like MAGA. They've attacked Black voters, they viciously turned on anyone that wanted to work with others and they were all about non stop harassment. Also Bernie knew and his silence was tacit approval cause when he went begging to Warren for her endorsement he then admitting and tried to apologize for how his cult behaved towards her and she still told him to fuck off. Shit we saw it again this year when all the same Bernie cult were screaming Free Palestine and got REAL ANTI BLACK when they saw that Black voters were rocking with Harris.

That's all it takes lol... we're doomed

Yet the other motherfucker started a riot, wants to be a dictator, and has on multiple occasions talked about turning the military on his opponents, and people who worked under him, including his former vice president have said he's unfit.

Harris isn't the perfect candidate but Trump is not an option.

Dear Black Men for Trump,

Meet Stephen (White Hat), we know who he’s voting for…..

Stephen and his three friends chose to racially profile a young Black teen, following him as he walked through his own neighborhood.

Believing he didn’t belong in an upscale area, they began to harass him for over 10 mins. When the teen refused to submit and answer Stephen's questions, Stephen became so frustrated that he pulled out a gun!

Fortunately, one of Stephen’s friends intervened and prevented a shooting, but this is the reality of what “Making America Great Again” looks like.

Sarasota Police stated that no crime was committed. This is precisely the outcome that Trump seems to endorse—leading to violence without consequences for those who act out.

This is the life you like for you and your kids!
