I want to say I’m at a loss for words but I’m not. It’s interesting seeing the anti Harris folks post. For the most part, I’m amazed at the continued ignorance of you opting out of a system that has/will directly impact your daily life.
Sure we may not see political adds but trust and believe, the political craziness is going to continue. With another Trump term, there are things we can expect to see and then we will see things most generations haven’t seen.
We can expect:
-More of our troops being mobilized into a conflict and war
-Up swing of voting restrictions and increased legislation that hinders Black and Brown people (you are a dumbass if you haven’t learned by now that the largest political impact on Black and Brown lives is from State and Local politics and some people will show their ass)
-In two years, more white people will realize they fucked up again by voting for Trump and vote in more democrats to the house and or senate.
-We will actively see someone try to destroy federal agencies that impact our daily lives. Remember what was happening to the mail service? Education is going to get seriously fucked.
one of the greatest things about a healthy federal government is its’ ability to step in and protect and give rights to people in states where it is needed. Unfortunately, Democrats (while not always being good) continually catch the responsibility for the crazy shit republicans continue to do when fucking over people and people’s rights for their own perceived power and profit grab.
On a local to me level, Ted Cruz being re-elected isn’t about people liking him but I think more about people not being able to vote for a democrat candidate. Ted fucking Cruz again…that’s a let down.
