I don't want to hear about your kids being poisoned. Your family being denied healthcare. Your friends or family being deported. You being discriminated against. Palestinians being killed. Reparations not being given. You had a chance of having someone in office that was for protecting and expanding rights, who if they weren't yet in agreement who could be persuaded, or someone who will tell you straight up to go kick rocks. You decided you liked kicking rocks.

For everyone else, buckle up. I'm not sure how we had bigger turn out with fewer votes overall, but it is what it is. The American electorate is stupid, short sighted, racist and misogynistic to varying degrees. I had hoped knowing the damage Trump and the GOP will do could overcome that but I guess not. Telling people "I told you so" when shit hits the fan isn't as much fun when we are all sinking on the same ship, but I'll take what I can get.

I agree with you except we can't just blame the public and not blame the Democratic Party. They share a lot of blame in this. Hindsight is 2020 but they needed a new candidate two years ago and a much better ability to articulate a positive agenda (which is not the same thing as saying there's an 80 page plan on the website). The people suck but the party's job is to make it work.

I agree with nearly everything here except telling the territories to hold their own nuts. They already have been. One of the reasons this election went this way, other than racism and sexism, is because Americans got a taste of how people in the US territories live.

The food prices on those islands are high as shit because they can only trade with the US. $10 for a dozen eggs is laughable to them because they've been paying that since at least the 90s.

As a fellow healthcare professional, we know the level of damages they can do to an already fragile system is terrifying to think about.

A lot of these patients and their families and likely the 80% uneducated,Hispanics, that voted for RFK Jr to be in charge of making the most critical decisions in the industry are about to go through some serious pain.

Sadly, this is true.

EVERY VOTE counts and when you pick a women as your lead you automatically have given a certain percentage of votes away and that’s so sad to say out loud.

Between Hillary and now Kamala I doubt you see the Dems put out another female candidate again.
