They voted for the Heritage foundation, ALEC, The Federalist Society, Stephen Miller, Steve Bannon, Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, Netanyahu and Putin. All these people who say they hate Christianity and having religion shoved down their throats? They voted for a Theocracy. When Stephen Miller at MSG said America is for Americans, he meant WHITE Americans. We have always been othered in this country. They don't see us as full citizens with the same rights they have. Trump is going to get at least two more SCOTUS picks. Little good has come out of that court since his appointments were made. People learned absolutely NOTHING from the overturning of Roe, Chevron and AA. Black people fare the worst in our judical system but thanks to Jones vs Hendrix, if you are found innocent after being convicted you are just SOL. A hard head makes for a soft behind.

I don't want to hear folk who are celebrating Trump whining about schools and football games getting shot up. I don't want to hear about loved ones dying from listeria because Trump let meat plants police themselves. I can't believe the dems didn't get around to fixing that yet, but now I guess it doesn't matter. I don't want to hear about the next Black man that gets killed by a rogue cop. I don't want to hear you complain about being stopped and frisked. I don't want to hear about your wife, girlfriend, daughter, niece, aunt dying because she couldn't get health care or about her mental issues after being forced to give birth to her rapists baby. I don't want to hear shit about a terroist attack because other countries were not looking out for us as an ally. I don't want to hear shit about your interracial marriage being declared illegal. I don't want to hear shit about fentynal over dosing when Trump was letting it pour into the country, and will again. I don't want to hear shit about the jobs lost because they go after the Chips act. I don't want to hear shit about how much stuff costs because of Trump's tarriffs. I don't want to hear shit when polices are being dictated by conspiracy theories and religious doctrine rather than science and facts. Will all this happen? Who knows. The point is it is now POSSIBLE. I have sympathy for the ones who wanted sanity, but not for the ones who voted against it, but bad policy doesn't affect just those who vote for it. It rains on the just and unjust alike.

All the people who covered for Trump instead of speaking out in real time can kiss my ass. They wanted to protect the office of the presidency but screwed all of us, and those half ass decent people won't get near the WH as an advisor or cabinet member. Unless Trump gets taken out by the 25th amendment, welcome to RFK Jr being in charge of public health. Congratulations, you played yourself.

But like some posters said and I believe it’s true. White America needs to feel something before they finally, likely reluctantly, maybe we fucked up?

The terrible reality is before they get to that point and feel it likely it’s the black and brown(Hispanic men? Yikes!) that will suffer the most!

Yeah but like they say "when white America catches a cold, Black America catches pneumonia." Anything that helps us, helps them. Anything that hurts them hurts us worse, but for some white folx they don't care if they suffer, as long as we suffer MORE.

We have supposedly Black folk with fantasies of Black people coming together and some how coming out on top. Some of the people in this thread celebrating Trumps win have said in the past they want to see the system collapse. Steve Bannon wants the same thing, but he thinks white people come out on top. They can't both be right. We are 13% of the population, scattered all across the country. The odds are in Steve Bannon's favor.

I feel you 100% Sis and I am also angry.....As a collective we just have to move strategically and keep our FAITH.....

Anger has consumed me as well because I feel good overcomes evil, but man sometimes it appears that's not the case.....

Just keep the FAITH and we as family will have to stay strong for each other....

The overall mood from my students is disappointment, but they do feel like they did their part.

They are not ignorant to what those exit polls were saying about voting demographics. Some are worried for the future and other feel like those people that voted against their interest will get theirs, especially the Latinos.

For many of them, this was their 2016.

Trump doesn't see those territories as Americans. He sees Blue states as the enemy. Some places didn't get proper disaster relief for disasters during his term until he was out of office. Red states MIGHT get relief, but we've also seen poor and black areas after a disaster get under-served so even being in a red state is no guarantee of relief.

Oh yeah, it's definitely going to be Mad Max for everybody who isn't in a deep red area. He already floated withholding disaster relief from places like California. He can't put politics aside to govern because he only knows politics and loyalty.

He's not running America like a business, he's running it like a crime family.

That's the thing, many of them aren't voting against their own interests, they're voting to keep a system in place.

Spot on once more! Hell goes to show you how much better at math Trump and his people are. Even if all 13% of us voted against Trump he still had the 87% to play with and practical 60-80 of the white men and women in that group.

As long as he stayed on topic like that post @DC_Dude just added about them being the new minority and convincing enough of the other minorities like Hispanics they’re welcome at the table or at the every least they’ll be higher than the negroes then mathematically it’s in the bag!

Fear and hate has ALWAYS been easier to spread compared to love and inclusion!

Dems will always have the harder job!!

This here is exactly why Democrats lost. If you refuse to hear out where you fucked up, what message does that send? Secondly, how exactly do you learn from your mistakes? And third, who on earth would vote for you? People do not resonate with far left liberal ideologies. The faster Democrats understand that, the faster they can heal from this and move on. Blaming others is a historically Red move. I know it’s raw right now so I’ll give some grace but you’re better than that.
