The first backlash is going to happen in 2026 doing the midterms. I've had an account on Bluesky for a while but it's taking a while for that to get traction due to lack of features.
Threads (Instagram) is an alternative also, but I don't use it since I already have IG. There are just too many platforms and none of them do anything well.
Twitter before the Musk takeover was chaotic but functional.
