My guess is cause they don’t have real world experience. Their entire life is surrounded by machines and tech. Millennials can cross reference bot DM’s with real life propositions and adjust. But most these new kids need a handbook on how to talk to people. The concept of randomly striking up a convo with someone you don’t know from nowhere and chopping it up is anxiety inducing. Even the GOP supporters in rural areas of Texas feel backstabbed, cuz now Abbott has the votes to pass legislation to use tax payer dollars to pay for private school vouchers of rich and wealthy. Democrats and those Republicans that lived in rural areas rejected the measure....partly because why should tax payers have to pay for schooling of the wealthy,....and second.....there aren't any private schools in the majority of rural areas where students can take advantage of those vouchers.

They've been closing schools left and right just so they can have the funds available for rich whites to take advantage of private school voucher funds in the bigger cities in Texas.

The press rushed out the Latin voting record for a reason. They did it to plant the seeds of divide and conquer. Latin folks didn’t overwhelming vote for the Republican candidate, the Democratic Party is just continuing their political atrophy act. Republicans are the only party that loves voter atrophy.
