VIDEO: Ice Skater Dies After Neck is Slit From Another Skater's Blade

After seeing Clint Malachuk neck injury, I don't need to see anymore hockey incidents. If you haven't seen it Google it. 11 people fainted, 2 had heart attacks, and 3 players vomited on ice. It looked like a murder scene.
All he was very lucky to leave that alive. He needed over 200 stitches in his neck for that situation.
When did this happen? How is not a leading every sports show?
Late last week maybe Thursday or Friday. If it had been a NHL game it would have been a bigger story

From Wikipedia

"Malarchuk lost 1.5 liters of blood.[9] It took doctors a total of 300 stitches to close the 6 inches (15 cm) wound.[10] He was back on the ice in ten days".

I didn't know that back on the ice shit. Guess he figured it couldn't happen a 2nd time but still seems too short of a period. Maybe bein a goalie had something to do with it.
And his shit was definition of a freak occurrence.
